Immuno-Oncology Job Overview: Our Waltham client, pioneering in cancer immunotherapy with notable leadership, seeks an experienced clinical leader to spearhead their team, foster company growth, and manage key external partnerships.

Primary Job Requirements:

M.D. or dual M.D./Ph.D. degrees, specializing in oncology, immunology, or immuno-oncology, with a robust understanding of the field.

Demonstrates extensive experience in leading medical teams for the development of immuno-oncology drugs, covering the spectrum from antibody employment to multi-functional proteins.

Exhibits a strong track record in managing the journey of investigational new drugs from discovery, through late-stage clinical trials, to approval and commercialization.

Is an expert in strategic clinical planning, adept at partnering with clinical thought-leaders to map out and implement the most effective drug development strategies.

Proven leadership in building, mentoring, and managing clinical teams, with a significant focus on operational execution, resource management, protocol authorship, and regulatory filings.

Commands respect within the biopharmaceutical industry, able to leverage connections with CROs, KOLs, and partners, while fostering internal and external communication with compelling rationale and urgency.

Committed to the growth and mentoring of the internal clinical development team, collaborating constructively with founders, CEO, and board to contribute to the companys success.
