Chief Marketing Officer

Summary:
Leads the strategic development and implementation of residential and commercial marketing strategies and tactics, in support of company's customer and financial objectives. Create and deliver marketing plans that are consistent with company's philosophy. Recruit, build and maintain a high-performance team rooted in cross company collaboration, accountability and ownership.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to those listed below:
Recruit, develop and retain a high-performance marketing team rooted in the culture of Point Broadband with high focus on accountability, ownership, and results driven
Lead the development and execution of residential lead generation and upgrade programs to achieve customer and product sales targets
Lead the development and execution of Commercial lead generation and upgrade programs to achieve customer and product sales targets
Lead the development of customer retention and loyalty programs
Lead the development and execution of customer acquisition on strategic initiatives within the company
Lead the development and execution of residential channel expansion that aligns with Point Broadband's strategic business plan
For Commercial, partner with internal organizations to rapidly scale lead generation and lead nurturing through the implementation of CRM, Marketing Automation, and Content Management Systems to align to customers stage in the sales funnel in order to help sales organization achieve monthly revenue targets by sales channel
Lead field marketing organization to align marketing resources to strategic initiatives to drive results to help Point Broadband achieve its business plan
Develop and nurture a brand identity and positioning that is competitively differentiating, and implement a communications plan that extends the brand across all customer touchpoints
Spearhead customer analytics strategy and plans to yield effective segmentation approach for retention and experience
Lead the external and internal communications to improve Point Broadband's position in the market and partner with HR and other key departments to help increase employee engagement
Lead the development and advancement of Point Broadband's digital marketing programs to drive marketing effectiveness and lower CPC, CPS (SEM, SEO, Display, Native, Other)
Establish positive and productive relationships with internal customer groups, working collaboratively to execute all initiatives consistent with company's operating philosophy
Monitor and analyze marketing performance, tactical marketing response, industry trends and competitive landscape in order to evolve marketing and product plans as needed
Identify alternate channels and sources of customer and revenue growth
Lead the development of the plan to achieve Ad Sales annual targets
Build and manage annual Marketing OPEX budget
Partner with regional teams in development of company-wide marketing strategies, while providing support for local marketing initiatives as appropriate
Develop skill sets of the Marketing Communications and Product Management team members in support of their individual professional goals
Actively lead all relationships with outside agencies, consultants and vendors in support of Marketing objectives and plan
Advocate for the Point Broadband culture internally and externally

Education:
Experience/Skills Needed:
Cable video/Internet/phone product experience preferred
Ten years plus related experience
Excellent skills in the areas of: leadership, quantitative and financial analysis, project management, communications, problem-solving
Proficiency in digital marketing tools, social media platforms, and analytics to drive data-informed decision-making
Some understanding of operational processes from call handling to provisioning to dispatch to fulfillment and servicing
Proven experience hiring, leading and managing external agencies
Computer Skills:
Excellent computer skills including MS Office & MS Project.
