First Entertainment Credit Union is looking for an experienced marketing executive to join our team. As a member of our senior leadership team, this individual will influence organizational strategy and support the organization in the pursuit of our strategic objectives. The ideal candidate will have a passion for leading marketing teams in a data-driven environment. This individual will have strong leadership skills and a commitment to developing their team.

Eligible candidates require a theoretical basis in branding, strategic thinking, visioning, and critical analysis competencies as well as strong production and implementation expertise. You will need demonstrated expertise and experience with programs for branding, market penetration studies, and production implementation and monitoring. Proficiency in developing market and brand programs for member/customer segmentation, analytics, and development must be relevant.


  • Four-year college degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field is required, a Master's degree is preferred.

  • 10+ years' of progressive marketing leadership skills are required

  • Experience in the financial services industry is required with Credit Union experience highly preferred.

  • A strong understanding of leveraging large data sets to set campaigns and target the right audience.

  • On ongoing learning mentality, community involvement, networking, excellent communication skills both in writing and presenting are important.

  • The executive should demonstrate strong self-starting, futuristic thinking, interpersonal skills, and resiliency to continually strive for goals.

  • Experience in the entertainment industry is a plus.

What you'll be doing: As the Chief Marketing Officer reporting to the CEO, you will be responsible for creating innovative marketing strategies that create sell-in and sell-through and build our brand. You possess tremendous communication and leadership skills, with proven success in traditional and innovative campaigns across the broad spectrum of today's marketing channels including consumer-packaged goods experience. As the Chief Marketing Officer, you will: * Build a creative, intelligent and informed marketing plan to evangelize the brand message, drive sales and drive market penetration * Pioneer and implement measurable marketing strategies that will drive revenue goals and increase awareness at state and national level * Build corporate brand to drive awareness – positioning our company as the leader in the industry * Establish and manage brand architecture, voice, and all points of communication with dispensary partners and end users * Lead and execute an integrated marketing and communications program including advertising, public relations, original content development, trade shows, channel programs, sales materials, and digital / social strategies * Select, develop and manage key third-party relationships (agencies, service providers, etc.) * Establish best in industry web presence that will drive dispensaries and consumers to visit our site to learn about the products and become lifelong brand evangelists * Responsible (in collaboration with sales) for development of the company's revenue forecast * Develop and manage marketing budget and employees * Implement customer segmentation and key data tracking systems Your experience and skills include: * BA/BS degree in Marketing, Business or related field required. MBA preferred * 10+ years of marketing experience in positions highlighting increasing responsibility * 5 years of experience in senior marketing in the wine and spirits, beauty, fashion, and or consumer packaged goods experience a plus. Must have experience marketing premium luxury brands * Proven track record as an individual contributor who has grown top line results * Experience leading marketing in new or emerging markets where traditional data sources are limited * An entrepreneurial attitude and background developing marketing strategies that drive revenue growth * Proven successful application of marketing techniques in digital and non-digital channel.
