Chief Marketing Officer for consumer business. Lead Brand strategy for all brands under the AAP umbrella (consumer and business-to-business). Responsible for accelerating growth of the organization by implementing strategy and direction using digital marketing technologies and data analytics; Build and develop innovative marketing and business development strategies to support exponential growth.Specific duties include:

  • Determine strategy & creative development as well as the tactical execution for a short and long term marketing plan utilizing industry best practices and past company successes for the entire footprint of over 5000 stores

  • Build and execute a marketing, insights & analytics 5 year strategic plan to inform organizational design, systems, budgets and talent needs

  • Build a world class digital and data function with predictive analytics

  • Direct the company's market research efforts using advanced statistical techniques to identify key customers, recruiting prospects and new markets for growth

  • Develop and implement the digital strategy and analytics to include innovative web development technology, social media, and video and email marketing strategies

  • Manage and oversee revenue producing internet advertising and search engine optimization (SEO) and online marketing (PPC) initiatives

  • Develop and implement proactive business development strategies using consumer insights and advanced analytics

  • Develop and implement analytical and technology tools and techniques to support and enhance customer relationships, area marketing and business development efforts

  • Ensure that marketing, sponsorship and media relations drive business objectives by bringing a data-driven approach to these areas

  • Coordinate the use of external and internal consumer data for the organization

  • Develop data-driven marketing plans that drive higher frequency of visits for existing customers and creates new customers both in brick and mortar stores and on-line

  • Identify and drive innovative solutions to achieve greater operational efficiency and productivity for Marketing using technology, analytics and insights

  • Build strong organizational capability by setting the standard for talent assessment, attraction and retention

  • Create high performing teams that work well cross functionally

  • Build top-flight team by providing the personal leadership, creative environment, training and strategic support necessary to attract and develop top talent

  • Build out a highly effective team of internal and external resources, spanning across all major marketing and analytics disciplines

Minimum Requirements:

Education:Master's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business or related field

Experience: 10 years progressive experience in job offered or related position with a Fortune 500 Company or equivalent

In depth working knowledge of:

(a) market research & data analysis methods,

(b) modern technology principles including open source technologies, agile principles, API development

(c) big data analytics and machine learning

Proficiency with:

  • Strong digital, analytical orientation using digital channels & data to drive customer acquisition, retention, frequency, etc.

These positions are responsible for rendering Final agency decisions on Social Services appeals (i.e., Medicaid, Food & Nutrition Services, Work First, DayCare, Special Assistance, Energy Assistance, Adoption Assistance, etc.) when a State Hearing Officer's tentative decision is contested in accordance with NCGS 108A-79. The Final decision rendered cannot be altered by any supervising authority and sets forth the final agency position on contested issues. These positions impose an immense responsibility to render accurate decisions since the consequence of error is multitudinous. These positions involve supervising Hearing Officers to ensure hearings are conducted consistently, in compliance with due process standards, and that the decisions rendered are defensible. These positions are also responsible for interpreting program regulations, implementing procedures, maintaining work standards, assigning hearing caseloads, and recruiting, orienting, and training staff members. Job Specific Responsibilities * Manage the contested caseload of appeals through processing oral/written arguments, reviewing official files, researching law and regulations, and rendering accurate, impartial, well supported and written timely Final Decisions that contain findings of fact and conclusions of law based upon the record and supported by the greater weight of substantial evidence in accordance with policy, law, and State and Federal regulations * Responsible for hiring, orienting, training, monitoring, and evaluating work performance of Hearing Officers * Assign hearing itineraries to Hearing Officers * Oversee and implement internal hearing office procedures * Determine training needs, prepare training materials, and provide training Salary Grade: GN 13; Recruitment Range: $48,051 - $69,000 Position #: 60042793 and 60041996 About North Carolina Medicaid: The North Carolina Medicaid and NC Health Choice programs (NC Medicaid), managed by the Division of Health Benefits (DHB), helps North Carolinians improve their health and well-being by providing access to services and supports for low-income parents, children, seniors, people with intellectual / developmental disabilities, behavioral health needs or substance use disorders. With a budget of more than $14 billion per fiscal year, Medicaid ensures that 69,000 enrolled providers are reimbursed for delivering covered services to more than two million beneficiaries.
