We are seeking an experienced Chief Investment Officer to lead our Perkins Coie Trust Company Investment team with a well-established, positive and proactive leadership approach. This position oversees the management of investment portfolios and the development of short- and long-term investment plans for this company. This person will report to our CEO and board of managers.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
Provide overall direction on strategic asset allocation for affluent client assets; work closely with the Client team to design investment policy and design asset allocation modeling tools to automate portfolio management function.
Build analytical framework for asset allocation and manager selection including intensive quantitative and qualitative fund research processes.
Maintain effective and efficient investment processes.
Chair the Investment Committee responsible for multi-asset investment decisions implemented in client portfolios; recommend new strategies and changes to existing investment policies based on allocations in tax-aware framework.
Explore innovative and new approaches to the investment process.
Review all investment portfolio performance and present reports to management.
Oversee the selection and training of all new employees in investment-related activities and evaluate performance.
Lead internal and external communications.
Specific Skills Required:
Experience in successfully leading an investment team.
Demonstrated leadership skills such as organizing, problem solving, planning, decision-making and active listening.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong presentation skills with clients and firm leaders.
In-depth knowledge of return generation strategies, asset classes and various investment products.
Expert in managing the full spectrum of equity investments, fixed income and alternative strategies for the company.
Solid work ethic with a strong degree of integrity.
