Role Overview

RWA Wealth Partners is looking for a Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) to be a key member of the leadership team and be responsible for developing and executing our human resource strategy in support of the overall business plan and strategic direction of the organization, specifically in the areas of talent management, recruiting, performance management/assessment, communications and change management, training and development, people operations, and compensation. Reporting to the CEO, this person will connect the company's mission, values and business strategy with an effective people and organizational strategy to deliver great culture and great results.

Responsibilities

  • Serve on the executive leadership team as a strategic business partner to the CEO, executive team, and investor group regarding key organizational issues, such as culture, organizational effectiveness, talent, succession, people development and compensation.

  • Manage and coach a small but mighty HR and facilities/administrative team to ensure the smooth operations of the HR function and office locations across the country.

  • Establish and implement people initiatives that effectively communicate and embody the company's mission, vision, and values and that drive the success of the business.

  • Communicate a cohesive and comprehensive talent strategy and human resources plan that unifies the people function under the overarching strategy for the business.

  • Ensure stage-appropriate systems, tools, and processes are in place to enable the organization to rapidly scale and lead and manage the full stack of human resources functions: talent acquisition, talent management, people operations, employer brand, employee experience, and total rewards.

  • Support dynamic talent acquisition and talent management strategies and processes to optimize both hiring and retention across all roles and levels.

  • Focus on employee engagement to drive better employee experience and an improving/evolving culture.

  • Become a strong champion of the company culture and work with the leadership team and the entire organization to evolve the culture in support of the company business goals.

  • Maintain knowledge and understanding of current and emerging regulations and practices and applicable laws in human resources and employment and ensure the business operates accordingly.

Education, Experience and Qualifications

  • Leadership experience as the senior HR leader with accountability to and coaching for the CEO and leadership team.

  • First-hand experience leading teams and coaching managers and executives on people management fundamentals to drive employee growth.

  • Experience preferred in a similar stage PE backed business looking to scale.

  • Strong business acumen and ability to shape organizational design directly linked to the business results the organization needs to achieve at each stage.

  • Experience with M&A in private equity, particularly focused on post-acquisition integration

  • Ability to engage the workforce and drive organizational change through employee program creation and launches

  • Experience using people data and to communicate insights that can inform sound decision making on talent issues in the business

  • Undergraduate degree required MBA and/or a Human Resources degree preferred.

Compensation

Final base compensation will be carefully determined based on several factors including relevant knowledge, skillset, and experience. Additionally, this role may be eligible for other forms of compensation and benefits, such as discretionary bonus, health, dental, and vision plans, and employer 401(k) contributions.
