For over 60 years, St. Joseph Hospital has provided comprehensive healthcare to Bangor, Maine, and the surrounding areas. As a member of Covenant Health Systems, St. Joseph is a modern, acute care facility offering a wide range of services including a cath lab, surgical and orthopedic care, cardiopulmonary support, and palliative care. Our Hospitalist team strives to uphold St. Joseph's key values of compassion, integrity, collaboration, and excellence.
112-bed, community hospital
Team of 11 physicians and a clinical performance nurse
Open ICU; Hospitalists manage ICU patients and must be comfortable with basic vent management; Sub-specialists are available
Hospitalists are a part of the Rapid Response Team
Board certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine required
Prior chief hospitalist experience preferred or 3+ years of acute care hospitalist experience with career aspirations to lead a team
