Position Summary:
As a Chef Financial Officer, you will be responsible for overseeing all the financial operations, objectives, and budget of Nordex USA, including banking and Tax Equity alignment, accounting, financial reporting, tax, business controls, and treasury. As a CFO you will manage all aspects of financial matters and decision-making and also oversee the investment of funds held by Nordex in the USA assess and manage associated risks supervise cash management activities, execute strategies that need corporate finance intervention, and deal with mergers and acquisitions, if they come across.
Responsibilities:
Build (and establish, where needed) relationships with Finance stakeholders in the market to expand our network of partners who work with us and to continuously engage about the progress of Nordex group.
Act as a custodian of the Tax Equity, debt and equity sponsors from finance and financing perspective.
Ensures compliance with all required Accounting and Finance standards, including GAAP and IFRS.
Leads monthly closing, complete and submit Financial Statements and reporting package to corporate Nordex group.
Leads the monthly Financial Review with the Business Unit CFO and discuss monthly status of projects and Financial Performance.
Coordinates the consistency of policies with corporate Nordex group.
Directs Project Cost Accounting.
Leads and coordinates the annual audit process.
Provides meaningful information regarding financial performance to the management. team, departments, and project leadership; provide monthly actual vs. budget analysis.
Prepares annual budgets (OPEX, PEX, CAPEX) and updates of strategic plan, including monthly, quarterly, and year-end forecasts.
Develop and implement internal control procedures.
Manages treasury and cash flow management and forecast.
Coordinates and supervises relationships with tax advisors for compliance.
Performs all company invoicing and aggressively manages retention balances on all projects.
Works with internal business partners to review and maintain all project contracts from an accounting and financial perspective.
Supports projects and ad hoc inquiries and tasks as needed.
Manages outside vendors and other duties.
Strengthen and maintain internal management reporting KPIs and adherence to budget.
Be a strategic partner to the CEO in topics around business growth and relationship development in the financial sphere.
Other responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements:
BA/BS in Finance or Accounting, or equivalent work experience; CPA a plus
10 years of Finance experience in a corporate environment
Strong oral and written communication, decision-making, leadership, and organizational skills; excellent business acumen and judgment.
Excellent computer skills
Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Some travel is required.
