Job Summary:
We're hiring for a strategic Chief Financial Officer to join the team at Kiswe. The primary functions of this role encompass leading fundraising, corporate development, and investor relations. This is your chance to work with an award-winning technology company that is defining the future of interactive video streaming. The salary range applicable to this role is $157,000 - $196,000. This role ideally will sit in our US Headquarters at our offices in New Providence, New Jersey, but we are open to remote candidates in the US who meet or exceed our qualifications.

Our mission is to do big things for our partners, their fans, and each other by building products that more directly connect content creators and owners to their audiences in engaging ways and at any scale. This role will directly support our mission by taking the lead on the strategic and entrepreneurial aspects of finance; fundraising, investor relations, and corporate development opportunities. More broadly, it would be beneficial for the person in this role to have tenure and history in the tech and media space where they've led strategy on fundraising efforts focused on increasing investments needed for continued business expansion. A strong connectivity within the funding space will be crucial, having demonstrated the ability to successfully maintain relationships with funds, banks, and other organizations that could be considered as investors. Knowledge and history of operational financial aspects are helpful to this role, but we have a team in place that already proficiently manages this function.
Primary Responsibilities:
Fundraising - collaborate with the leadership team and other necessary stakeholders to plan the use of funds, create and manage materials and information for our virtual data room, respond to diligence requests, negotiate investor terms, complete the round with other investments, and manage funds appropriately post-fundraise
Strategic Planning and Corporate Development - develop financial scenarios for various development opportunities including public readiness activities, research economic trends, evaluate the financial aspects of product and service expansions, etc.
Investor Relations - create forward facing financial results for investors, facilitate clear and concise communications to explain performance and outlooks accurately, manage incoming introductions from investors, consistently engage and leverage investor base in other strategic efforts related to the business
Financial Planning & Analysis - build, maintain, and forecast financial plans and reports for monthly, quarterly, and multi-year outlooks, in collaboration with our existing FP&A team, senior leaders, and Board Members
Desirable Qualifications:
Prior experience successfully fundraising and managing exits, and understanding the organizational core required to execute these activities
Experience on a senior leadership team responsible for organizational wide deliverables and metrics
Prior experience leading and managing financial operations at startups in media and technology, with a recognized respect established in the industry
Demonstrated resilience, resourcefulness, and grit in overcoming challenges and achieving objectives in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
Demonstrated history of supporting, supervising, and driving improvements with an organization's core accounting functions (Controller plus 2 Accounting Team members currently in place)
Excellent collaboration skills, cross-functionally internally and with external stakeholders
Experience developing and managing people and teams, targeting efficiency and growth opportunities
8 to 10 years of experience in accounting, finance, and financial management required
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
History of and an interest in participating in other areas of a business including involvement in employee resource groups, diversity & inclusion initiatives, or other organizationally-supported programs
