Safety/Sensitive Designations: This position is considered safety/sensitive for the purpose of compliance with the Arkansas Medical Marijuana Act 593.

Position Summary

The CFO is responsible for the supervision and leadership of the Finance department. Duties consist of oversight and accountability of all financial and accounting functions. This position is a member of the executive leadership team and has the responsibility for assisting with the development and implementation of ICM's strategic initiatives as directed by the CEO.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the leadership, management, and oversight of all finance and accounting functions including:

  • Accounts Payable

  • Accounts Receivables and Billing

  • Financial Statement Preparation and Reconciliation

  • Financial Analysis

  • Payroll

  • Third-Party Systems Contract Management

  • Personnel Benefit Oversight (Welfare Benefits and Retirement Plan)

  • Representative Payee Oversight

  • Possesses understanding of laws and regulations and detailed knowledge of policies and procedures for areas of responsibility.

  • Establishes and maintains positive relationships with ICM customers, families, and employees. Promotes principles and practices reflecting the advancement of self-determination, dignity, and respect among all people supported by ICM.

  • Serves as a key advisor to the CEO and assists in developing and carrying out long and short-range organizational goals.

  • Fosters a collaborative relationship with executive team members to support ICM in achieving its mission.

  • Serves as an ICM brand ambassador by positively representing ICM among stakeholders and the public to advance ICM's goals and mission.

Qualifications/Specifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree and licensed by the Arkansas State Board of Public Accountancy as a Certified Public Accountant.

  • Experience: 5+ years gradually increasing experience in financial management and accounting operations.

  • Essential Technical/Motor Skills: Proven possession of analytical, organizational, administrative, decision making, and leadership skills. Strong knowledge of accounting best practices, accounting software, and popular office suites including Microsoft and Google platforms. Exceptional spreadsheet skills (i.e., Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets).

  • Interpersonal Skills and Critical Cognitive Abilities: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. High level ability to represent the organization with all stakeholders and the public. High level ability to cultivate relationships and negotiate contracts.

  • Essential Physical Requirements: Requires full range of body motion including handling and lifting, manual and finger dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and the ability to perform job related duties which may require lifting, standing, bending, stooping, stretching, walking, pushing, and pulling with or without reasonable accommodation. Able to lift and carry equipment and supplies up to 50 pounds.

  • Essential Sensory Requirements: Ability to respond to staff and customer needs in a timely manner by interpreting verbal and nonverbal expressions.

  • Other: Understands and exemplifies the mission, vision, and values of ICM. Is an exceptional and effective leader. Adheres to dress code, good grooming, personal hygiene habits, and attendance policies. Maintains knowledge of and conforms to ICM policies and procedures.
