Chief Financial Officer-Ft

WATER ADMINISTRATION - FUNCTION: The CFO is accountable for the financial and financial risk management of the EWSU and the ongoing development and monitoring of control systems designed to protect and maintain appropriate levels of the Utility's financial assets and report accurate financial results.

DUTIES: Assist the Utility's Executive Team in formulating the company's future direction.

Monitor and direct the implementation of the Utility's business plans. Manage the annual development of the Utility's annual budget. Manage capital requests and capital funding for projects.

Participate in key decisions, manage accounting department staff, and implement operational best practices. Oversee the issuance of financial information. Prepare monthly financial statements.

Review and approve the annual report. Coordinate and assist the Utility's financial advisors. Monitor cash balances and cash forecasts. Manage and oversee the process for obtaining debt financing and oversee the Utility's investments.

QUALIFICATIONS:* Master's degree in accounting or business administration, or equivalent business experience and 10+ years of progressively responsible experience for a major company or division of a large corporation. Should have experience in partnering with an executive team and have a high level of written and oral communication skills.
