Position Summary:
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) is the individual primarily entrusted by the SAY Board of Directors to advance the organizations mission of supporting the most vulnerable children, youth and families in Sonoma County in a highly impactful and sustainable manner. She/he will partner with the Board of Directors to develop a dynamic long-term strategic plan and retain a talented core of individuals to execute on priorities identified. The CEO serves as the face and voice of the organization to a wide variety of stakeholders including but not limited to company employees, volunteers, investors, partner agencies, payors, member coalitions, and the Board of Directors and its committees.

Ideal candidates will have a proven track record of success at the executive level in an organization, be highly strategic, financially literate, analytical and emotionally intelligent, be driven by the core values and mission of the organization, will possess excellent communication abilities in both spoken and written form, know and understand Sonoma County, and conduct her or himself with the highest degree of dignity, integrity and transparency.

About the organization: SAY was established in 1971 by a group of legendary Sonoma County leaders to provide a constructive alternative to juvenile hall for runaway youth. Since then, SAY has helped over 50,000 youth, aged 5-24. Over the years, SAY has continually refined its program formula to break cycles of abuse and hopelessness. That formula incorporates three pillars: housing, counseling and careers.

The product: Youth who are stable and able to rise to lifes challenges and opportunities.

Today, SAY, the principal organization serving at-risk kids in Sonoma County since 1971, has recently renovated the former Sutter Warrack Hospital in Santa Rosa to repurpose this idle community asset into the SAY Finley Dream Center. The Dream Center has become part of SAYs family of services, which also include a teen shelter, drop-in center, youth apartments, street outreach team, in-school mental health care, grief services, and a robust career services program.

SAY is governed by a 20 member, highly respected Board of Directors including bankers, accountants, financial managers, law-enforcement and criminal justice administrators.

The Community Lending Officer (CLO), within Retail Sales, will be focused Supporting Low to Moderate Income (LMI) clients in critical markets by managing the end-to-end consumer mortgage referral requests that originate within Financial Centers, with additional flat dollar amount based on LMI unit production. Other sources of revenue to meet 100% of mortgage sales goals may be developed through self-sourcing from relationships with local realtors and/or builders. The CLO will successfully complete pre-assigned training activities and achieve personal production goals. The plan structure provides an additional incentive opportunity based on LMI production. This position is subject to SAFE Act registration requirements. Pursuant to the SAFE Act requirements, all employees engaged in residential loan mortgage originations must register with the federal registry system and remain in good standing. Description: The Financial Center Community Lending Officer is responsible for originating retail mortgage loans and other lending products through maximizing client relationships within a designated Financial Center. This individual would have an extensive understanding of the local Affordable Housing Market, Housing Assistance Programs, and experience providing thoughtful lending solutions and guidance to Low to Moderate Income and First Time Homebuyers.
