Callisto is seeking the next dynamic Chief Executive Officer to lead this groundbreaking, leading-edge organization creating, introducing, and implementing a technology-based resource for survivors of sexual assault. Callisto's technology-based products put the survivor in the driver's seat of information capture and control as well as obtaining expert legal advice on the pros and cons of pursuing different courses of action.

The CEO reports to the Callisto Board of Directors and is the executive and team leader and public face of the organization. S/he represents Callisto to current and future partners and customers and serves as the chief fundraiser for the organization.

Callisto's annual operating budget is currently more than $2M. The organization has offices in San Francisco with staff located throughout the U.S. There is the potential for flexibility in location for the CEO. The ideal candidate will bring the following Experience:

  • Minimum of 15 years' experience in public health, technology, tech-for-good, public policy, philanthropy, business, social impact or social enterprises, with at least five of those years in positions of senior-level executive leadership and management with proven abilities in the management of people and finances, including direct supervision of a P&L, budgeting, and forecasting.

  • Working in partnership with an engaged Board of Directors.

  • Track record of fundraising success or demonstrated aptitude and abilities in this functional area.

  • Service as an organizational spokesperson.

  • Track record of building effective partnerships and customer connections and successful relationships.

  • Experience leading, managing, and mentoring staff in functional areas, as well as developing organizational capacity in these functional areas.

  • Track record of bringing new technology products to market strongly preferred.

In this role you will provide general support as needed to the Marketing department and maintain a safe and pleasant office environment, with superb attention to detail and customer service. You're excited about this opportunity because you will... * Strategically manage and maintain the executive's schedule so that work days are efficiently organized, including foreseeing scheduling conflicts, and regularly reviewing the upcoming calendar with the CMO. * Plan, coordinate and execute meeting set-up and events. Including room set-ups, light catering, Audio/Visual set up, attendance tracking and materials printing and distribution. Provide agendas, detailed data, information and resources to the executive in preparation for meetings. * Plan all aspects of domestic and international travel, optimizing and balancing executive's time with cost of travel. Includes orchestrating itinerary details. * Prepare expense reports for the executive via Concur. Review and approve expense reports for direct reports in accordance with company travel policy. * Work alongside the Marketing Social Committee to create and organize team building events and celebrations. Gauge office morale and react accordingly. * Phone support for executive and back up support for other executives as needed. Includes answering, screening, taking messages/gathering information and re-directing to the appropriate person or team. * Act as a liaison between executive, their team and other key business partners keeping everyone connected and informed. * * Onboarding new associates, welcoming and ensuring they are set-up for their first day. * Draft and edit communication in the voice of the executive and company. * Resolve time sensitive issues with a high degree of precision and professionalism. * Maintain hard and soft copy filing, including departmental organization charts for the company, department contact lists and other items as directed. * Process invoices and order supplies in COUPA. Manage time cards in KRONOS. Utilize other company systems and platforms as needed for various tasks. * Handle multiple tasks, switching priorities and focus as needed. * Build relationships with people and teams across the company to foster process improvement and resolve issues, particularly with the IT and facilities departments. * Perform and prioritize special projects as directed; handle confidential and sensitive information. * No task is too small' approach.
