EisnerAmper has made significant progress over the past year re-building and refreshing our commitment to a DEI culture, yet we acknowledge much more work needs to be done. The Chief of DEI works closely with the firm's leadership and colleagues to execute the firm-wide DEI vision.

The ideal candidate will have experience building effective multi-year DEI strategies, as well as strong program and project management skills focused on outcomes. The successful candidate will also be required to represent the firm to the community, including through participation in outside organizations and at external events.


  • Drive DEI program objectives through program management and defined project plans including managing implementation of all activities, and developing processes, documentation, and communications for rollout and ongoing support.

  • Develop metrics and analyze results to assess the effectiveness of DEI action steps.

  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to coordinate and strengthen integrated hiring practices and with Talent Management to develop retention and support programs for diverse colleagues.

  • Partner with Service Line and Operations Leaders to integrate and align the firm's DEI commitment to its overall business plans and operating principles.

  • Participate in conversations with firm leadership regarding colleague performance and utilization and work with partners to implement/track appropriate follow-up.

  • Collaborate with EisnerAmper University on DEI training curriculum and other professional development opportunities for partners and colleagues.

  • Collaborate with Marketing, Business Development and Client Experience to make sure that we are meeting the needs of our diverse clients and prospective clients.

  • Deliver a DEI communications strategy that promotes awareness of issues that impact firm management, operations, and governance.

  • Serve as an advisor to the DEI Council and Work Stream Leaders by facilitating their programs and goals, including our ongoing support of the communities in which we serve.

  • Manage firm-wide Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) to ensure that annual planning, budget, and programming align with the firm's diversity and inclusion objectives.

Basic Qualifications

  • 7+ years of DEI experience preferably in a business strategy, program management, and or strategic planning role.

  • BA/BS in business administration, human resources, psychology or another related discipline, or relevant experience. MBA or Master's in organizational development, DEI certification(s) or related experience with a professional services firm experience a plus.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Knowledge of current industry best practices, trends, and techniques.

  • Experience gathering, managing, and translating data and analytics to uncover insights, tell stories, develop metrics that drive decisions and effectuate change, and measure impact.

  • Experience in client-facing roles to engage, listen, educate, and respond with priority actions in partnership with key stakeholders across various functions and levels.

  • Exceptional writing and public speaking skills required.

  • Knowledge of project management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and coordination of people and resources.

  • Knowledge of change management principles and experience implementing them.

  • Business acumen (understanding our business).

This individual will have the opportunity to collaborate with Deloitte's adjacent businesses - Consulting, Risk &amp; Financial Advisory, Audit &amp; Assurance, and Tax as well as Enabling Areas such as US Innovation's Artificial Intelligence Strategic Growth Offering (AI SGO), Technology Services, Talent, and Risk - to harness disruptive technology internally (operations, assets, infrastructure, capability building) &amp; externally (new business growth, external positioning, research &amp; eminence).</p><p>Responsibilities may include:</p><ul><li><p>Work with Tech Strategy leadership to drive/support the development of strategies, roadmaps, and workplans for individual initiatives to advance fiscal year priorities</p></li><li><p>Build relationships and serve as a liaison with business CTOs, SGO teams, and other stakeholders</p></li><li><p>Support business specific tech initiatives as a Green Dot liaison throughout the year (I.e. AI delivery transformation, digital citizen)</p></li><li><p>Support research, analysis, and collateral development for emerging tech and strategy activation initiatives related to emerging tech trends and market positioning</p></li><li><p>Execute project management, operations, and reporting activities across initiatives</p></li></ul><p>What you bring to the table:</p><ul><li><p>Bachelor's Degree</p></li><li><p>5-7 years of consulting experience with working knowledge of emerging technologies</p></li><li><p>Experience advancing artificial intelligence or emerging technologies within the firm or with clients a plus</p></li><li><p>Strong senior executive communication (verbal and written)</p></li><li><p>Experience leading and managing projects</p></li><li><p>Ability to work independently and be self-driven</p></li><li><p>Ability to lead through influence</p></li><li><p>Excellent focus on details and ability to produce high quality work products, particularly in PowerPoint</p></li><li><p>Demonstrate a depth of analysis and critical thinking</p></li></ul><p>Location: Open (United States)</p><p>Travel:</p><p>Ability to travel 0-25%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve (the role is primarily virtual with targeted travel for team meetings).</p><p>For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in Colorado or Nevada, Deloitte is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to the State of Colorado and the State of Nevada and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
