Leidos has a current job opportunities for a Chief Cyber Security Analyst and Senior Cyber Security Advisor to support the DISA GSM-O Task Order 29 Network Assurance (NA) Program Leadership in cyber transformation activities. This positions are located in Fort Meade, MD. The selected candidates will support defensive cyber operations transformation activities to include cloud, CSSP, JRSS/JIE, SIEM, Tool Capabilities, Operational Process Optimization, and others.

The selected candidates will be expected to actively engage with a variety of customers, partnering with them, anticipating their needs, and delivering flawlessly. Candidates must be able to partner successfully across multiple time zones working closely with TO29 Program Manager, Service Delivery Manager, and other task order leadership across all sites.

JOB DUTIES:

  • Lead working groups and follow project developments.

  • Develop cyber strategy and associated documentation.

  • Provide Subject Matter Expertise for customer inquiries.

  • Establish and maintain inter-agency and external relationships for cyber related collaboration.

Basic Qualifications:

  • BS degree and 12+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 10+ years of prior relevant experience (4 years of relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of degree).

  • Active Top Secret with ability to obtain SCI.

  • Experience as a cyber defense analyst.

  • Good knowledge of networks, cyber defense toolsets and processes.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting Cyber Transformation Activities.

  • Hold and maintain an active Top Secret\SCI clearance.

  • Experience with Analysis Frameworks (Cyber Kill Chain\Diamond Model).

  • Experience supporting DISA.

  • Demonstrated commitment to training, self-study and maintaining proficiency in the technical cyber security arena.

  • Previous experience in leadership positions or working with senior leaders.

  • DoD 8570 Certification.

  • Proficiency in one or more of the following: JRSS, SIEMs, PCAP Analysis, IronPort, FireEye, SourceFire, Elasticsearch/Kibana.

Meade". JFHQ-DODIN is a component command of USCYBERCOM, and is aligned with the Secure, Operate, and Defend the DODIN mission area. JFHQ-DODIN executes Command and Control (C2) of DOD components that conduct DODIN operations and Defensive Cyberspace Operations-Internal Defensive Measures to ensure the DOD has a secure and reliable information infrastructure, and to minimize intrusion attacks. In support of JFHQ-DODIN's mission, the Cyber Security Analyst will work as part of a team in the JFHQ-DODIN Operations Center (JDOC). The analyst will be assigned to an element that will focus on a designated area of operation (AO) within the DOD. Primary Responsibilities: * Obtain and maintain a working knowledge of the current status of Orders issued by JFHQ-DODIN, and subordinate organizations compliance with issued orders * Provide near real time situational monitoring of an aligned AO to achieve, sustain, and present a near real time situational understanding of the AO's operational environment. To include: o tracking ongoing operations, the posture and disposition of friendly forces and adversary activity o monitoring, consuming and analyzing operational, intelligence, and incident reporting o monitoring and querying Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tools (ex. Splunk, ArcSight, McAfee Network Security Manager, etc.) for anomalous activity * Collect, analyze and distribute Indicators of Compromise (IOC) in support of the development and implementation of DOD countermeasures * Develop metrics to measure the effectiveness of practices and controls to mitigate threats and vulnerabilities; and develop dashboards that illustrate the effectiveness of risk mitigation over time. * Coordinate DODIN Operations and Defensive Cyber Operations with DOD cyber components; obtain situation reports, incident response efforts, and obtain information for briefings, presentations, or other situational awareness products used to inform senior leadership * The analyst must be able to work independently (where required) to achieve day-to-day objectives work and as part of a team * This is a shift-work position; analyst maybe assigned to a day-shift, swing-shift (afternoon), or mid-shift (overnight); to include potentially weekends and/or holidays.
