THE ROLE YOU WILL PLAY:

This is an opportunity to build this company s compliance program from the ground up
You will have the chance to collaborate senior management and our executive team on a regular basis while maintaining a high level of autonomy
You will assist internal partners with AML/KYC related questions and escalations
You will be responsible for developing KYC/AML/BSA program and procedures for existing and future product development
You will draft and update any necessary desktop procedures

4+ years of experience as a Money Laundering Reporting Officer, Compliance Officer, or Anti-Money Laundering Officer
Exposure to performing in a fast-paced environment
AML/CFT certified
Bachelor s degree

Our digital AR financing platform is used by developers and publishers worldwide and provides a complimentary funding source to venture capital for high growth businesses to fuel growth.</p><p>We’re looking for a talented and entrepreneurial Chief Credit Officer to help us expand our digital AR financing platform and grow into new verticals such as digital music and film, helping to define and create new credit products for a range of digital marketplaces. We are excited about the opportunity which for the right candidate will require them to think outside the traditional credit box and use data sources beyond just traditional financial metrics to create and price ground breaking new credit products and open up a range of new opportunities for fixed income investors.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>ABOUT THE ROLE</strong></p><p>The successful candidate will be responsible for owning and evolving the credit policies and procedures of our existing accounts receivable financing business and building out scalable risk/operational infrastructure as we grow our lending volumes and expand into new territories and vertical markets.</p><p>Working closely with the CEO, you will function as a core member of the management team and will be key to the operational running of the Company and its growth expansion into new markets.</p><p>You are highly analytical and at the same time creative in problem solving, finding safe and secure ways to meet growth challenges both in defining new products and leading the charge into new international markets with differing regulatory frameworks. The role is global with a main focus on North America and Europe. Travel to Europe and beyond will be required.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p><ul> <li>Drive long term business success through the effective management of credit risk exposure across a range of parameters</li> <li>Oversight and provision of active management of underwriting, credit analysis and monitoring functions and interfacing with product management teams</li> <li>Setting and monitoring risk tolerance parameters at both a macro and product level</li> <li>Participate in our capital raising process and manage day to day liason with our range of liquidity providers</li> <li>Structuring and pricing of new credit products within our target digital markets and territories, including determination of adequacy of loss pool allowances</li> <li>Own and constantly evolve internal controls in the form of written policies, operating processes &amp; procedures</li> <li>Maintain appropriate portfolio monitoring discipline to maintain loan book quality</li> <li>Work with finance and tech teams to ensure strict compliance with established protocols, constantly evolving our internal operating infrastructure to be best in class</li> <li>Play a key role as a member the Company’s Credit Committee </li> <li>Recruit, lead and coach additional team members</li> </ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><ul> <li>At least 15 years experience in a regulated financial institution in either an asset based or SMB lending, with at least 5 years in a leadership position</li> <li>Bachelors degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics or other relevant subject</li> <li>Asset based portfolio credit management experience</li> <li>Workout and bankruptcy experience</li> <li>Outstanding financial modelling skills and highly proficient in Excel and Tableau</li> <li>Knowledge of current regulatory/compliance issues and accounting precepts</li> <li>Strong written and verbal communications skills and excellent time management</li> <li>Collaborative mindset and sense of urgency to get things done</li> <li>Process and detail oriented with constant desire to evolve best practice</li> <li>A positive can-do attitude and hunger to push the boundaries</li> </ul><p><strong>Benefits</strong></p><p>Working for a progressive alternative lending provider, innovating at the cutting edge of digital lending, we offer a competitive salary and customary health benefits as well as equity participation from day one.</p><p><br></p><p>PLEASE NOTE THAT POLLEN VC ONLY RECRUITS DIRECTLY - WE DO NOT RECRUIT THROUGH AGENCIES.</p> Pollen VC San Francisco CA
