World Class Real Estate company CBRE - Healthcare Division, is in search of a high-reaching, reliable and talented Chief Building Engineer Supervisor who is ready to take their talents to the next level!

As a CBRE Chief Building Engineer Supervisor, you will supervise the team responsible for planning,

coordinating, and managing ongoing maintenance and repair operations for a facility, a campus, or a portfolio

of buildings.

This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing

support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.

What you'll do

• Plans, implements, coordinates and leads all mechanical operations, maintenance, communications, energy management, and staff development programs for a facility, campus or portfolio of buildings.

• Leads the building's operational accounts and assists in development of operating and capital budgets.

• Assists in operations and maintenance issues, troubleshooting and problem solving as required.

• Recommends and implements improvements for preventive maintenance programs and develop/maintain effective building-specific maintenance and safety procedure manuals.

• Coordinates maintenance efforts with outside contractors, tenant finish personnel and technicians. Coordinates all building systems including fire/life safety, plumbing, HVAC and electrical issues and must remain current with HVAC technology trends.

• Maintains communication with tenants, clients, owners, facility management team and vendors.

• Responds to all emergency situations and customer communications quickly (fire, evacuation, equipment failure etc.).

• Implements and coordinates inventory control programs/purchase parts and supplies.

SUPERVISORY:

• Provides formal supervision to individual employees within single functional or operational area.

• Prepares and delivers performance appraisal for staff. Mentors and coaches team members to further develop competencies.

• Demonstrate leadership qualities and models behaviors that are consistent with the company's values.

What you'll need

Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university and proven ability and/or training. Or equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge and understanding of all applicable practices and techniques, laws, project controls and environmental regulations to include safety laws.

Universal CFC certification required. Additional certification in three or more of the following: HVAC, electrical, mechanical, HVAC and refrigeration systems, process controls, mechanical power transmissions, painting, plumbing, carpentry or engine repair. Certifications/licenses as may be required by local or state jurisdictions.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a

candidate's education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Chief Building Engineer Supervisor position

is $110,000 annually and the maximum salary for the Chief Building Engineer Supervisor position is

$135,000 annually . The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate

will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also

be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE's applicable benefit program.
