Looking for an experienced Chief Architect with background in commercial IT communications and military operations. This position is responsible for leading the program to develop, maintain and govern the architecture across the enterprise. The Chief Architect is also responsible for defining the enterprise architecture process and architecture review process, as well as for leading the integration of these processes with other related business and IT processes.

Responsibilities include:

  • Analyzes all aspects of the network, makes recommendations on key technology, architecture, and vendor decisions, drives a common vision in a multi-supplier global environment, and enforces key policies and practices across the infrastructure via network audits.

  • Manages the overall technical relationship between Air Force and AT&T.

  • Works with Air Force to establish, modify, and manage architectural requirements.

  • Serves as executive escalation point for technical aspects of the supported services.

  • Responsible for assessing technical, deployment, and operational requirements and developing detailed designs for complex solutions.

  • Drives service process improvements based on Air Force experiences and recommendations.

  • Understands Air Force business needs to support ongoing satisfaction with the delivery of products and services.

  • Understands Air Force network associated policies and reviews new network solutions to support compliance with AT&T and Air Force policies. Recommend changes to operational documents as necessary.

  • Participates in high-level risk and impact analysis activities that are typically performed before work order development. Responsible for guiding the evolution of network architecture

The ideal candidate will have 10-20+ year first-hand experience in IT engineering and design and master's degree in computer science. Demonstrable experience in presenting material to senior Government officials and communicating and coordinating with other Government contractors and industry.

Required Clearance: Must be a US Citizen and possess TS/SCI clearance

VIEW JOBS 12/4/2018 12:00:00 AM 2019-03-04T00:00 This position will be responsible for the management, administration and technical support for AT&T Government Solutions National Security/Emergency Preparedness (NS/EP) Program. As the Director for the NS/EP program/technical management teams, this individual will assist in managing/leading/coordinating with other partner organizations (i.e., Labs and Mobility) responsible for providing support for AT&T's GETS/WPS wireline and wireless Priority Telecommunications Services (PTS) contract. The NS/EP team interfaces directly with the Office of Emergency Communications (OEC) under the Department of Homeland Security(DHS) ensuring that NS/EP services support the OEC in its mission to provide Continuity of Operations and Continuity of Government during times of emergency. This position is also responsible for the management of the design, development and deployment of technical solutions for the OEC in AT&Ts Next Generation Network. This work includes developing and maintaining internal and external strategic partnerships, evaluating and selecting personnel to support specific customer opportunities, simultaneously leading multiple project teams, managing offer development processes by building and maintaining technical and industry expertise to understand and identify individual customer needs. This position requires the individual possess excellent skills in customer relations and management along with a good technical knowledge of AT&T's network. Requires strong communications skills with a focus on technical writing, presentations and briefings. Must be able to analyze, define client business problems and coordinate the implementation of a variety of services to solve customer needs. In addition, the position requires account planning, sales funnel, business case and proposal development to expand existing opportunities for AT&T's NS/EP and infrastructure protection programs. This position requires the individual possess an extensive project management background along with technical experience. Broad ranging technical knowledge of specialized services GETS and SRAS in both the TDM and VoIP networks. Must currently hold a Department of Defense Secret clearance.
