Chief Purpose of this position: We are seeking applicants for a Cardiothoracic Radiology faculty position to provide specialized cardiovascular imaging interpretation of conventional radiography, chest CT, HRCT, CTA, lung cancer screening, interventional thoracic procedures, in addition to cardiac CTA and cardiovascular MR. All imaging is fully digitized using recently upgraded, state of the art equipment. A special interest or skill(s) in thoracic acute care imaging, trauma, oncology, cardiology, transplantation, mechanical circulatory assist devices, and infectious and occupational lung diseases is preferred. This full-time cardiothoracic position will train medical students, residents and fellows within the large, highly productive academic radiology department.

Required Qualifications:
Have ABR certification or documentation of passing the Core Component of the ABR Board examination;
Be fellowship trained in Cardiothoracic Radiology
Applicants must demonstrate experience working in and fostering a diverse faculty, staff and student environment or commitment to do so as a faculty member at VCU
Candidates must be eligible for a Virginia medical license; must be eligible for permanent employment in the USA.
