Overview

ERA, a Waters Company located in Golden, Colorado is seeking a Chemistry Production Technician II to join our team which has responsibilities for production, assembly, labelling, and quality control of Analytical Standards & Reagents (ASR) products.

Responsibilities

Assembly/Production

  • Gravimetric and liquid packaging of ASR products to documented specifications.

  • Flame sealing of glass ampules to documented specifications.

  • Fulfilling production/assembly orders to meet supply plan dates.

  • Assembly of Waters ASR finished goods to meet on-time delivery.

  • Documentation and review of production and assembly production records

  • Labelling, organization, and storage of Work in Progress (WIP).

  • Inventory control of WIP products and raw materials via SAP.

  • Preparation and transportation of finished goods orders.

  • Assist in other areas when required.

Quality

  • Responsible for ensuring 100% compliance to specification by ensuring proper packaging, labelling, and documentation of products.

  • Focus on process control to avoid Service Requests.

  • Attention to detail, organization, and ability to work quickly without errors.

  • Responsible for following written work procedures and SOPs

  • Assist team in updating and improving processes

  • Assist team in updating SOPs and WIs

  • Assist team in continuous improvement

Qualifications

  • High School Education or GED required. College coursework or degree in the Sciences is preferred.

  • Previous lab experience preferred

  • 1+ year of previous work experience prerred

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Ability to work with your hands to handle small containers and packaging materials.

  • Ability to work indenpendently as well as in a Team environment.

  • Demonstrate sound judgment and ability to utilize Lean methods for problem solving.

  • Ability to review work and find peer errors.

  • Must be able to lift 40 lbs.

  • Must be willing to perform repetitive routine tasks consistently

  • Familiar with various Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, etc.).

In this role, the individual will help manufacture and provide analytical verification of all products assigned to the Waters ASR Team. This position will work daily to meet production requirements and delivery schedules while creating, testing, and maintaining high quality products. The position is responsible for the ongoing manufacturing, verification, and quality control of products. Also has responsibility for generating and reviewing Certifications of Analysis and Document Control. Responsibilities * Work with production team to meet production schedules and delivery date * Manufacture of chemical solutions to specifications * Analytical verification of products (instrument analyses) * Assist in execution of Validation Plans * Data review of all products manufactured, and verification data generated * Ensure that all products/data generated meet quality control requirements * Generation and review of bench sheets, certification documentation, and associated customer facing documents * Provide technical support for data interpretation and troubleshooting assistance for Waters ASR products * Responsible for ensuring 100% compliance to specification by ensuring proper production documentation to meet quality control requirements * Focus on process control to avoid customer impacted Service Requests * Attention to detail, organization and ability to work quickly without errors * Responsible for following written work procedures and SOPs to avoid variation in process * Assist team in updating and improving processes including the update of SOP/WI documents * Assist team in constant improvement and development of solutions if problems/issues arise; Work with team on increasing efficiency * Strong interpersonal and communication skills * Ability to work on independently and within a Team environment; includes individual expectations and productivity rates to meet deadlines and delivery targets * Quality Investigations; Use of Lean Manufacturing tools for problem solving * Focus on Health & Safety Issues Qualifications * Minimum B.S./B.A. in chemistry or related field with 4-7 years of analytical testing or laboratory related work experience. * Excellent written/verbal communication skills * Experience in a highly controlled quality manufacturing lab or process preferred * Knowledgeable and proficient in GLP and GDP * Ability to work with your hands requiring dexterity to handle small containers, laboratory materials and equipment * Experience with protein handling preferred * Experience preparing protein stocks highly desired * Experience with lyophilization and preparative scale chromatography preferred * Experience with validation plan writing and execution preferred * Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, etc.) required; Experience with SAP preferred but not required Company Description Waters Corporation (NYSE: WAT), the world's leading specialty measurement company, has pioneered chromatography, mass spectrometry and thermal analysis innovations serving the life, materials, and food sciences for more than 60 years.
