We have a 2nd shift opening at our Burlington, WI facility for a Chemistry Lab Technician. This position supports our manufacturing operations to provide real-time technical assistance for our Compounding department. The Chemistry Lab Technician works closely with the Compounding team to ensure quality product.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Determine compound acceptance based on analytical tests using equipment such as rheometers and tensometers and provide real-time feedback to the mixing team.

  • Document test failures using the NCR process. Work with team and department manager to troubleshoot root cause of failure and determine final disposition.

  • Complete test reports and enter data as required by manager.

  • Assist Engineers with material test data and maintaining records to support New Product Launch and Process Improvement Projects.

  • Perform daily titrations and changeover solutions to support ongoing R&D immersion testing.

  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

The successful Lab Technician candidate will have:

  • High School Diploma (Associates degree a plus)

  • 1-2 years of laboratory testing experience desired

  • Strong math and analytical skills.

  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with co-workers at all levels and functions.

  • Excellent organizational and follow-through skills.

  • Intermediate level performance in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
