Ecolab is seeking a Senior Chemist to lead innovation projects from inception to commercialization with a primary focus on dairy, poultry, and swine production. In this role, he or she will work closely with Sales and Marketing to translate customer insights into project charters aligned with the business priorities, financial innovation goals, and technical capabilities. The researcher will lead and manage the project plans, timelines, and resource requirements, as well as create and lead multifunctional teams through technical development. The researcher will perform lab work, design and execute field trials, and direct and manage team deliverables. The ideal candidate would have project management experience with strong communication skills with customers, stakeholders, and sponsors.

What you will do:
Independently lead innovation projects to commercialization
Plan, perform, interpret, and document research to guide innovation development strategies, milestone management, and customer technical support including lab work and field studies.
Build, lead, and manage multifunctional teams (Sales, Marketing, RD&E, Regulatory, Supply Chain) against project milestones through effective communications, time management, and project documentation.
Bachelors' Chemistry or related scientific discipline and 2 years of research experience
Ability to design, execute, and interpret research with a working knowledge of statistics
Excellent written and oral communications skills
Experience in product formulation development
Project leadership experience creating and managing multifunctional team and project management tools
Knowledge of cleaning and sanitizer formulations
Knowledge of livestock production and biosecurity
Experience in Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), International Cooperation on Harmonization for Veterinary Drugs (VICH), Biocide Product Regulations (BPR)
