Our team is looking for a successful candidate who will work in a technically diverse and dynamic environment with a team of test sponsors, engineers and technicians.

Specific duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to development of new analytical techniques to support test water analysis, investigation of metal specimen degradation, metal surfaces and water chemistry, development and maintenance of chemistry and waste management procedures, training of procedures, and the development, operations and maintenance of an analytical chemistry laboratory. The individual will be responsible for properly maintaining administrative and operational aspects of the chemistry laboratory, including the identification, characterization, and handling of emissions, discharges, and wastes to ensure environmental regulatory compliance. Department of Energy (DOE) by Fluor Marine Propulsion, LLC (FMP), a wholly owned subsidiary of Fluor Corporation. Naval Nuclear Laboratory personnel are FMP employees who work at four DOE facilities: Bettis Atomic Power Laboratory, Knolls Atomic Power Laboratory, Kenneth A.

Kesselring Site, and Naval Reactors Facility, and at the U.S.

Department of Defense-owned Nuclear Power Training Unit-Charleston. FMP employees also have an established presence at numerous shipyards and vendor locations.
