Job Description

We are seeking a Product Scientist with a strong in Chemistry and laboratory practices. Ideal candidates will have experience in a Quality Assurance (QA) environment, though this is not a strict requirement. Familiarity with Good Laboratory Practice (GLP), Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), and standard lab protocols is highly beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Grind samples for chemistry analysis, handling 10-pound samples at a time.
• Stock laboratory supplies as needed.
• Press samples for oil extraction.
• Perform lower-level laboratory technician tasks as required.

Essential Skills

• Experience in laboratory settings.
• Knowledge of QA/QC processes.
• Familiarity with GLP practices.
• Hands-on experience with High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC).

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in sciences.
• Experience in quality control and general lab practices.
• Sample preparation experience, specifically with HPLC.
• Ability to work independently and show initiative.
• Good job tenure, including contract positions.

Work Environment

The position is based in an ISO accredited laboratory with approximately 16 employees. You will work closely with one other person in the same role. The work environment is relaxed and tight-knit. The job can be physically demanding, requiring standing and lifting items. The workday starts at 6:00 AM, Monday through Friday

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
