Individual will be responsible for working with the Collins Aerospace Global Chemical Substances (GCS) Program Office team to implement / enhance the tool set to help the business units meet their EU REACh and other Global Chemical product compliance regulations.
Job Discipline: Engineering or environmental sciences
Individual will be responsible for working with the Collins Aerospace Global Chemical Substances Program Office team and Green Solution Working group (Materials & Process Engineers) to expand / develop businesses processes to ensure compliance to global chemical regulations.
The candidate will promote alignment of understanding and communication of global chemical regulations, and convey what is means to our businesses. Resource will work with internal Business Unit team members and leadership to ensure a coordinated flow of information between all parties. The candidate must be willing to communicate technical issues clearly and succinctly to the leadership team for further assistance.
The position will allow the candidate to assist in maturing internal processes and developing standard work to ensure successful on-going activities.
The candidate may be asked to perform other related duties as requirements develop.
Distilling emerging chemical regulations to determine what elements are applicable to Collins Aerospace
Determine what is the more effective business process and procedure to ensure successful compliance, whether enhancing existing processes or creating new processes.
Develop / Support global chemical regulations database & SharePoint tool
Support data activities for the Collins REACh Authorisation dossiers and work closely with SBU REACh PMs to gather data.
Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.
Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident "Green Card" holder
