As a Chemical Operator, you will:

Monitor and operate complex chemical processes, equipment and facilities
Responsible for reading, interpreting and following instructions including standard operating conditions and procedures
Responsible for collecting and analyzing samples and verifying product meets requirements
Obtain, load, unload, transport, store, and stage materials
Responsible for operating mobile equipment
Follow site safety procedures to prepare and operate equipment

All applicants must successfully complete an online test as well as an onsite assessment to be considered for the role. Relocation and or travel assistance for assessments is not offered for this opportunity.

A minimum of a High School diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent is required; Associates degree or higher is preferred
A minimum of 1-2 years' manufacturing/ production, warehouse, technician, logistic/military experience is required
Willing and able to work a rotating shift schedule including holidays and weekends is required
Willing and able to work overtime, sometimes on short notice is required
Willing and able to wear appropriate PPE (personal protective equipment) including a respirator, full chemical resistant suit with supplied breathing air is required
Willing and able to lift and move objects that weigh up to 50 lbs is required
Willing and able to climb multiple flights of stairs, multiple times per day is required
Willing and able to work on elevated surfaces climbing open vertical ladders is required
Willing and able to work in confined spaces is required
Demonstrated computer proficiency including Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel is required
Must have a valid U.S. driver's license
This role is located in Buffalo, NY and may require less than 5% of travel
A minimum requirement for this U.S. based position is the ability to work legally in the United States; No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position

Preferred Skills / Qualifications:

Advanced degree beyond High School (Associate, Bachelor, etc.) from an accredited program
Prior work experience in a chemical plant
Experience doing lockouts i.e. isolating hazardous energy sources
Experience operating mobile equipment i.e. fork truck
Prior experience wearing a respirator
Prior experience wearing a chemical resistant suit

VIEW JOBS Our office in Buffalo, NY is looking for a Chemical Process Engineer to provide their technical knowledge on the process design of environmental and chemical/industrial engineering projects. Specifically you will have the opportunity to work on the following process design items: * P&ID preparation * Mass and energy balance preparation * Equipment design and procurement * Pipe and pump sizing * Specification and bid/construction document preparation * System start-up * Process evaluation and troubleshooting Additionally, you'll provide design/project coordination support such as: * Acting as a point of contact within the engineering group to support ongoing multi-discipline projects for chemical, petrochemical and environmental clients that outsource work to be completed using GHD resources * Responding to RFI's, Bid Requests, feasibility discussions, and lead Proposal efforts to confirm scope, budget, and scheduling required to perform the requested services * Developing time & materials and/or competitive lump sum pricing to perform engineering services * Conducting project review meetings with internal multi-discipline design team to discuss issues, formally communicate action items to responsible parties, and provide follow up to ensure accurate assessment of progress against milestones * Capturing scope deviations and promptly advise design team and project manager of impact against current working agreements The successful candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications: * Bachelor's and/or Master's Degree in Chemical Engineering * 7-10 years of experience in Process Design * Proficient in Engineering Design Software including: * Aspen Hysys and other Aspen software products * Synergi Pipeline Simulator – Hydraulic & Surge Analysis * PipeFlo / PipeFlo Compressible – Hydraulic modeling of liquid and gas flow in pipes * Aptitude to read and understand P&ID's and other process equipment installation drawings * Knowledge of different types of construction drawings and details required for each discipline * Strong written and oral communications skills and ability to conduct meetings and presentations with clients and design team members * Ability to interface with multi-discipline technical disciplines and general understanding within each * Physical ability to make field trips to review project scopes, grasp project complexities, and gauge potential safety issues Our commitment to you Fostering gender balance, diversity and acceptance of flexible working is central to the way GHD does business. VIEW JOBS JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for providing direct assessment and treatment of as assigned caseload of children and/or adults with psychiatric disorders, including individual, group and family modalities, in both licensed outpatient and off-site settings. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: * Comply with the Agency's Compliance Program, Code of Ethics, laws, regulations, and ethical standards applicable to your job duties. * Knows and follows Catholic Charities mission, vision and guiding principles. * Orients new clients to treatment expectations and course of outpatient treatment at Monsignor Carr Institute (MCI). * Completes a thorough initial assessment with each client to determine appropriateness for admission. Makes appropriate referral if client does not meet admission criteria. * Completes required electronic and paper admission documentation and admits appropriate clients to the program as per policy and regulations. * Completes initial and ongoing treatment plans within the required time frames that include the current needs, strengths, safety, and corresponding plan of care for each client. * Provides therapeutic individual/group/family therapy as prescribed in the client's course of treatment and treatment plan. * Utilizes an effective manner and therapeutic style that demonstrates caring and empathy toward clients. * Makes active attempts to re-engage clients who withdraw from treatment when clinically appropriate. * Produces accurate, timely and professionally formulated progress notes after each session or interaction that reflects the client's status, progress, and treatment plan goals. * Completes case record self-audits on each client's chart as required. * Promptly and actively communicates with the client's family and designated collaterals and service providers. * Conducts home visits when clinically appropriate, as per NYSOMH regulations. * Observes client confidentiality laws and regulations and assures that release of information forms have been properly initiated, signed and updated as necessary. * Completes outpatient treatment review (OTR) forms and all required paperwork to enable third party reimbursement in a prompt, professional, and efficient manner. * Discharges clients per MCI policy and procedure. Promptly completes discharge summaries and sends a copy to the appropriate referral sources as per policy and regulations. * Actively seeks guidance, consultation, and direction from the supervisor and members of the treatment team. Comes prepared to clinical supervision sessions and utilizes them as a means to improve clinical skills and expertise. * Participates in required staff meetings and designated training. Attends other educational training to keep skills current and maintain credentials. Keeps credential up to date. * Consistently meets the MCI standard for clinical productivity. * Willingly accepts other duties as assigned by the clinic supervisor or department director. ACCOUNTABILITIES/SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: EDUCATION: Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) with license-eligible degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, psychology, psychiatric nursing or related discipline. Specify Special Requirements: New York State license (LMSW, LCSW, LCSW-R, LMHC, LMFT, CASAC, RN or LCAT) EXPERIENCE: Two years of professional Chemical Dependency Counseling. Internship experience completed as part of a license-eligible degree program may be counted toward this requirement.
