Compensation $20.00 to $25.00 per hour depending on relevant work experience.

• This range reflects Carestream's good faith estimate to pay fairly as starting wage. Offers will be tailored within the range based on the selected candidate's experience, industry knowledge, technical and communication skills, and other factors that may prove relevant during the interview process, as well as geographic market differentials for the position.

Position Summary:

Carestream is seeking a Chemical Operator to working on different steps of a Phosphor manufacturing process. This position is responsible for many of the day-to-day machine preparations, operation and clean-up activities. Requires the use and development of many manufacturing skills, understanding of equipment and processes. The ideal candidate is someone who can follow Standard Operating Procedures while adhering to high standards of quality and safety.

Location: Manufacturing facility in Rochester, NY near Ridge Road and East of Lake Ave near the railroad tracks (Ridge).

Position Responsibilities:

• Follow detailed Standard Operating Procedures to perform tasks safely with consistent results.

• Perform all required testing as specified.

• Adhere to (GDP) Good Documentation Practices for all data / results.

• Be able to read and understand Product Specifications and escalate any non-conforming or questionable results to Lead Operator or Engineers as appropriate.

• Maintain cleanliness of all work areas and equipment.

Required Skills & Education:

• High School diploma and 2+ years of experience in a chemical production or machine operating / manufacturing environment.

• Basic Computer skills i.e., Microsoft ( Word, Excel, Outlook ).

• Must be able to work 10 - 12 hour day shifts with flexibility of start times. Monday - Thursday, 4x10. Typical hours are 6am-4pm.

• Must have a Safety and Quality first mindset.

• Must be able to follow directions and work well on your own and in a team environment.

Desired Skills:

• Experience working with chemicals and previous machine operation experience.

• Strong work ethic with sound judgement and decision making skills.

• Strong and effective communication skills both verbally and written.

• Willingness to work overtime as needed.

• Experience troubleshooting mechanical and quality issues.

Work Environment:

Manufacturing environment.
