Job Title: Lab Technician

Job Description

As a Lab Technician, your role will be fundamental in handling all aspects of the wet lab. This includes working with viscometers, thermo/balances, titrations, gel testing, and catalysts. You will also be involved in the formulation and batch mixtures, for which a mathematical aptitude is necessary. The position is based in a production lab setting.

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Collierville, Tennessee.

Work Environment

Your training period will be 2-3 weeks on first shift (Monday - Friday, 7am-3pm) with the Lab Supervisor. After this, you should be open to working any shift, either 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, or 11pm-7am. Attendance and punctuality are crucial to us, and we enforce a 12-point attendance system. Most employees dress casually, wearing jeans or khakis, tennis shoes or loafers, and business-appropriate shirts. Safety shoes are mandatory, and we will provide safety goggles and lab coats. You should be comfortable with strong chemical smells, similar to highly concentrated acetone.
