Eastman Kodak is seeking an innovative and motivated Chemical Engineering Intern to join our team. We are looking for someone who is passionate about formulations of electrodes for Li-Ion batteries, as well as assembling and testing coin-cells. The ideal candidate should have a strong educational background in chemical engineering, excellent problem-solving and communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced engineering environment. Qualifications:

  • Applicant must be currently enrolled at an accredited university, majoring in Chemical Engineering or related degreed program.

  • The ideal candidate should have a strong educational background in chemical engineering, excellent problem-solving and communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Preference will be given to students that have completed at least one Co-Op term working with electrode formulations or assembling and testing Li-ion battery coin cells.

Responsibilities:

  • The co-op will gain experience both in formulation electrodes for Li-ion batteries as well as testing of coated electrodes including assembly and cycling of coin cells.

  • Provide chemical engineering support as needed under the direction of his or her mentor.

  • Discuss procedures to be followed, conduct experiments adhering to safety protocols, document experiment observations, and characterization results.
