Chemical Engineer

Description:

Project leader to enhance performance, work with R&D to create prototypes and improve design of existing products

Perform design reviews and modify 3D and 3D CAD Drawings

Use Design of Experiments and FMEA to reduce design change times

Work closely with R&D and production staff to generate feedback on product improvements

Knowledge of fluid flow, water pressure and water chemistry

Understanding of microfiltration (MF), ultrafiltration (UF), reverse osmosis (RO), and nanofiltration (NF) membranes products and processes

Skills:

r&d, chemical engineering, water system, japanese, water analysis, cad drawings, chemistry, power bi

Qualifications:

• B.S. in Chemical, Manufacturing, or Mechanical Engineering with 6 years' experience, or similar OR 3+ years of experience required with B.S./M.S, if direct experience in the water industry OR 1+ years of experience required with PhD, if direct experience in water industry

• Prior experience as a Chemical Engineer is required

• Prior experience with water chemistry, membrane technology or OEM company is preferred

• Understanding of statistical analysis tools such as Power BI is preferred

• Bilingual in Japanese is highly preferred

• 10% domestic travel may be required
