MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Valid Drivers License (copy required upon hire)
Physical (required within one month of hire)
B.A. Degree and one year's experience in the area of chemical dependency treatment/education is required
Ability to work with a diverse population presenting a variety of cultural, socioeconomic, developmental, and sexual identities. Must have the ability and willingness to establish and foster healthy and supportive relationships that acknowledge individual identities and encourage personal growth.

Must successfully complete all required background checks:
Criminal History Record Checks (CHRC)
NYS Statewide Central Register of Child Abuse and Maltreatment (SCR)
NYS Sex Offender Registry (SOR)
NYS Division of Criminal Justice Services (DCJS) fingerprinting
NYS Justice Center Staff Exclusion List (SEL)
Out-of-state child abuse register inquiry of any state in which the person resided within the last five years (if applicable)
Must successfully complete Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI)
HOURS
5 pm on three days, 12 pm
8 pm on two days, Saturday & Sunday off
SALARY
$63,000 - $68,000
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Interview clients, family, and referral sources to record all necessary information.
Completes diagnostic assessments for clients
Participates as a team member in developing and implementing comprehensive treatment plans for each client
Monitors and evaluates client progress; assesses and updates treatment plans.
Provides individual and group therapy for clients
Serves as a referral source and liaison in determining the needs of clients and coordinating services with appropriate community resources
Completes all documentation responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner
Compiles and updates case records, maintains regular progress notes and develops discharge plans with appropriate referrals for ongoing care
Prepares and participates in treatment plans, evaluations, and reviews for clients.
Participates in gathering client information or program data and submits reports to the Program Director
Provides clinical supervision and training to program staff as needed
Completes tasks delegated by the Program Director
Actively seeks out and participates in ongoing education/training that improves the quality of treatment of clients
Completes quality assurance and utilization review as delegated by the Program Director
Perform other duties as assigned by the Program Director
