The Chef deCuisine is responsible for the supervision of kitchen staff in assigned outletand creating and fostering a sanitary, productive and team oriented workenvironment.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Workwith Restaurant Manager and front of the house staff to ensure positiveguest experience.
Ensurequality food product and presentations.
Teachand develop staff while serving a consistent product with pride.
Maintainsfood cost, labor cost and expenses within budget guidelines.
Meetsattendance guidelines and adheres to regulatory, departmental and Companypolicies.
Must beable to cook and create new, innovative and imaginative recipes.
Must beable to react quickly and resolve problems. Support and foster loyalty andconduct business in a professional manner at all times.
Candidatemust currently be in a Chef de Cuisine or similar role
Musthave experience in high volume type of environment, Experience in finedining or semi-fine dining
Ableto manage team of approx. 40 employees and 4 chef Tournants
Besidesin-depth knowledge of food preparation, food trends and food styling,communication and administration skills are paramount
Abilityto maintain and further the develop the standards set by Caesars Entertainment.
Work requires effectivecommunication in English, both verbal and written form in a professionalmanner.
Work requires a minimum of a twoyear Culinary Arts School, or equivalent technical training in the foodindustry.
Minimum of three year experience asline level Supervisor or Chef in specialty room, Casual Dining or BuffetRestaurant environment.
Must present a neat andprofessional appearance.
Work prefers Bilingual abilities
Work requires flexibility to workvarious shifts.
PHYSICAL,MENTAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:
Fast paced environment, multiple tasks to be handled undertime constraint. Must be able to handle a heavy business volume, and sensitivesituations relating to staff and guest problems, in a timely manner.
