Checker

• Compensation: $24 per hour

• Schedule: 4 weekdays 12 PM - 8:30 PM and Saturday 6 AM - 2:30 PM. (Scheduled week day is TBD and will be discussed during interview.)

• Basic Requirements: Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time. Ability to lift, push and pull 50+ pounds, reach above head height, squat, kneel, bend and reach.

• Prior automated warehouse/general warehouse experience preferred.

Job Description

The Checker is responsible for verifying both outbound and inbound inventory.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Ensure load accuracy at check-in and check-out by physically counting

• Visually inspect all incoming and outgoing vehicles (requires climbing onto truck and manually opening bay doors)

• Enter inventory data in handheld and maintain all required records

• Perform miscellaneous activities as directed to support the efficient operation of the warehouse

• Adhere to all policies and procedures relating to product age, quality and safety

Job Requirements

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent preferred

• Minimum 6 months of general work experience required

• Prior warehouse experience preferred

• Experience working with manual or powered pallet jacks preferred

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy skills

• Must have the ability to periodically lift, push and pull 50+ pounds, reach above head height, squat, kneel, bend and reach

• Must have the ability to stand and walk for long periods of time

• Must have the ability to push and pull manual and powered material handling equipment (i.e., pallet jack, hand-truck etc.) containing product loads for a minimum of 100 yards without assistance

• Must have the ability to repetitively grasp and manipulate objects of varying size and weight requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination

• Must have the ability to read information in small, medium and large print
