JOB PURPOSE
Be a financial partner for the Finance Performance Head in all BA&C activity
Role model for the BA&C team
Strategic liaison between country (finance and business) and BA&C team (regional / global)
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Be a Business Partner for business teams
Point of contact for all BA&C related activities for the region
business partner support to the region CHC department (structure/opex) spending.
detailed analysis and support of all cost of good sold and opex, accruals.
Provide insights and support 'optimal' business decision making
Perform primary review of the Monthly, Quarterly, and Annual Financial reports and associated analyses
Analyze complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision making purposes
Support Senior Management Team and Departments heads with in-depth analysis
Review presentations for the Senior Management Team (local and Global CHC) to highlight financial trends and summarize business plans.
Support and lead special projects and ad hoc analyses
Lead Closing Activities
consolidation, analysis and synthesis of the monthly closing
Monitor performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variance
Monitor cash flow escalating any significant variances
Participate in budget & forecast
Coordinate the annual budget and financial forecasting process
other activities and deliverables such as preparing budget presentations, financial presentations.
Perform other finance tasks
Identify and request or perform Masterdata management in systems
Participate in internal control and audit processes to ensure compliance within his/her perimeter
Other tasks and duties as delegated by the BA&C Head
KEY WORKING RELATIONSHIPS
Region CHC Leadership team and head of functions
Finance team : Finance Business Partners, Finance Operation Head Controlling, Industrial, finance expertise (tax, treasury…)
Internal & external auditors
EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS
12+ years of work experience preferably in Corporate Finance or Accounting environment. High level of financial information systems knowledge: preferably JDE, SAP, TM1 and HFM. Able to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment; able to multi-task with proven follow-through and adherence to changing priorities and deadlines.
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or in Finance is required.
MBA and/or CPA is preferred.
