CHB Documentation Coordinator
CALocalSupply Chain/Logistics OperationsRef.: MA-239466We are looking for a CHB Documentation Coordinator to join our North America Customs House Brokerage team. This position will be based in South Gate, CA
This role supports a small group of client accounts by expediting their shipments from start to finish; by development of familiarity with their import programs and products; by coordinating file processing with team members and other Company work groups.

Key ResponsibilitiesThe CHB Documentation Coordinator coordinates documents for entries, scanning, and filing within an assigned import team or office.
Prints and coordinates entry documentation
Tracks and traces inbound shipments
Opens entry files
Scans entry packets and documentation to VFI Track
Discards files when appropriate
Performs clerical office tasks as assigned
The CHB Documentation Coordinator is not responsible for any supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Vandegrift's policies and applicable laws. The CHB Documentation Coordinator reports to the Team Leader, Assistant General Manager, or General Manager of his/her assigned office.
Who we are looking for
High School Diploma/GED
Customs House Brokerage License preferred but not required
1+ year of experience in the industry
Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate confidently
Persistently drives issues to closure
Well organized when working under pressure
Works together with others in the business unit to achieve results, fosters teamwork
