Charter Coordinator

Overview Under limited supervision, to coordinated all charter activity for respective district and outside charter work to ensure on-time performance of service within an assigned geographical area. Responsibilities Oversee all routing and scheduling of buses for charter activities; dispatch buses and provide timely information to drivers on the streets and customers as needed.

Take all scheduling and driver complaints, reporting to Terminal Manager or resolving problems directly with the customer.

Handles charter reservations, billing of said charters.

May provide solutions to drop-off and pick-up problems as it relates to charter

May handle back up driver duties or perform miscellaneous clerical duties while buses are in route.

Complete special projects as assigned.

Collateral duties as assigned.

Qualifications Basic knowledge of radio dispatch equipment

Attention to detail

Excellent communications and customer service skills.

Ability to work under time constraints and deadlines.

Strong ability to multi-task and handle competing priorities.

Previous driver experience.

Microsoft Office skills to include (Excel, Outlook, and Word)

Knowledge of VersaTrans.

High school diploma or equivalent. Appropriate vehicle licenses as required

The Support Plan Coordinator is a full-time position with day time hours. This position will allow you to give back to the community while having flexibility, full-time benefits, training, and advancement opportunities! Hours: Monday-Friday, 7:30am to 3:30pm. Starting pay for this position is $14.74 per hour and can vary depending on experience. Job Summary: The Support Plan Coordinator at MRCI is responsible for providing supports and assistance to individuals assigned to a team consistent with the individual support plan, which promotes individual choice and provides opportunities for skill acquisition. The types of support required are dependent on the needs of the individual and may include complete assistance with daily living skills to verbal reminders to complete a task. The position requires the ability to interact with a diverse population with dignity and respect in affording the individual his or her rights. In addition, the Support Plan Coordinator is responsible for maintaining a caseload of four to eight individuals, and for the facilitation of the planning meetings and the development of the individual support plans.As an employee of MRCI, this individual is expected and required to maintain the highest ethical standards. Essential Responsibilities/Duties: * Responsible for providing direct support daily and assistance to individuals assigned consistent with their individual support plan and must complete required paperwork and maintain records as required by licensing and accrediting agencies. * Responsible to be familiar with various methods of person-centered planning processes in order to establish and implement those techniques that best suit the work or leisure needs of clients. * Responsible to clearly and effectively communicate client needs and progress to supervisor and team members. Responsible to facilitate regular meetings to keep teams informed of client progress. * Responsible to provide direct support to clients in the work area to ensure a safe and effective environment for individual goal acquisition. Responsible for engaging clients throughout the day in activities and conversations. * Responsible to provide transportation to clients to job or recreation sites as needed for the fulfillment of individual program goals. * Responsible to understand the skills and limitations of all assigned clients to assure effective communication of needs throughout each day. * Responsible for other duties as assigned. Qualifications/Requirements: The Support Plan Coordinator position at MRCI requires at least two years of direct care or related experience, depending on education. In addition, the individual in this position must have experience with people who have developmental and mental disabilities, as well as solid interpersonal communication, record keeping, computer based office software, and person-centered planning skills. A Support Plan Coordinator is also required to be sensitive to the needs of individuals, hold a valid Drivers License. Education/Experience: A high school diploma or equivalent, Human Services Technician Training Certificate, or Associate's degree plus two years of related work experience OR Bachelor's Degree in a field related to service provision and a minimum of one year of related work experience working with persons with developmental disabilities or related conditions.
