Who You Are:

You have a proven track record of researching, submitting evidence, and successfully resolving chargeback disputes for both fraudulent and non-fraud chargebacks to mitigate financial risk. The ideal candidate will have a strong interpersonal and communication skills and be able to work with a diverse team.

What You'll Do:

  • Research fraud and non-fraud chargeback disputes and submit evidence to successfully resolve

  • Research fraud and non-fraud chargeback disputes, identify illegitimate claims and submit evidence to successfully resolve

  • Make outbound calls to account holders in order to understand how internal processes may contribute to chargebacks

  • Learn and understand all internal business processes

  • Analyze potentially fraudulent applicants to determine state of fraud

  • Document research and evidence precisely in all instances

  • Work with internal resources, third party servicing, and payment processors

  • Monitor trends and identify opportunities for improvement of internal controls

What You'll Need:

  • A minimum of one year of related work experience with Chargebacks, Fraud Prevention or Investigations

  • Knowledge and experience of chargeback disputes, fraud schemes and internal investigations

  • Demonstrated strong analytical skills with successful experience in obtaining, reviewing, and analyzing data to support chargeback investigations

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively organize and summarize data analyses for use in chargeback evidence submission and chargeback/fraud mitigation

  • Familiarity and experience working with chargeback and fraud detection technologies

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field a plus

  • Previous work experience with payment or credit card issuers a plus
