The incumbent to this position will be scheduled as a Charge Nurse and scheduled to work a day shift (6:45 a.m. - 3:15 p.m.) every Friday, Saturday, & Sunday. Job Summary The Registered Nurse in this position will run Charge to perform services requiring substantial specialized knowledge, judgment and skill for carrying out the nursing regimen in support of medical care, based upon the principles of the biological, physiological, behavioral, and social sciences.

We offer the following differentials on top of the hourly rate of pay: Charge $3.00 per hour Evening $3.00 per hour Night $5.00 per hour Weekend $2.00 per hour (in addition to applicable shift differentials) RN Base Pay Rate Range: $34.88 - $53.93 Requirements: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.

Current RN licensure recognized by the State of Vermont required Experience: Previous post-acute experience preferred but not required. The successful candidate will be empathetic and compassionate.

Must be reliable and able to work well as a member of a team. Strong communication skills are needed along with the ability to follow through. Must have basic computer skills.

Must possess a high aptitude for learning and patient care, and strong customer service skills. Specially designed treatment programs provide patients with the preparation, support and education that enables them to return home as quickly as possible.

Our goal is to help patients reach their highest possible level of independence. A partial list of conditions we work with includes strokes, neurological conditions, orthopedic care, respiratory conditions, and cardiac and post-trauma situations Routine Therapy services are provided Monday through Friday. We also have the capability of providing therapy six days a week if that is what is required to maximize positive results.

Nursing staff provide the necessary extension of therapies when therapy staff are not present to provide direct service. This may include walking, exercises and supervision of other activities set up by the therapy staff.
