Charge Nurse (Lpn/Rn)

We are seeking reliable charge nurses (LPN/RN) to provide compassionate care for Long-Term-Care residents in our 50 bed, rural nursing home. Key areas of responsibility include but are not limited to the following:

• Med Pass
• Charting
• Treatments
• Doctor/Nurse communication
• Monitoring health & safety of residents
• Obtaining vitals and blood sugars
• Assisting in feeding
• Supervising CAN’s
• Communication with families

Requirements

The job requirements include but are not limited to the following:

• Be a team player
• Possess good communication skills
• Understanding of electronic medical record systems
• Be licensed to work in Tennessee (Compact)
• Present good references
• Demonstrated reliability
• Compassionate and able to handle stress
• Be detail oriented

Benefits

Hourly rate ranges from $18 to $24 for LPN's and $22-$32 for RN's depending on years of experience and skill development. Fulltime employees earn approximately 20 PTO days per year. Shift differentials apply as follows: $1.00 more per hour for 2nd shift, $2.00 more per hour for 3rd shift, and an additional $1.00 per hour for all weekend shifts.

Signing Bonus: $3000 payed out over 12 months.
