Provides Chaplain coverageon an as needs basis. When on duty,serves as resource person to medical and nursing staff to patients and familymembers in the area of religious/ spiritual needs.
Provides support to patient and familymembers as needed and appropriate in matters of death and dying, as well as,the work and process of grief. The staff
Chaplain is sensitive to the various religious and faith needs of the patients,families, and staff and provides pastoral care in an appropriate and meaningfulway.
Bachelor's Degree required.
Be ordained or have a recognized ecclesiastical endorsement. Be ecclesiastically endorsed for ministry in the specific setting.
Two or more years prior pastoral experience.
Four units of clinical pastoral education (preferably two units at an advanced level), or equivalent experience.
