External Description: Job Summary:
The Aftermarket Channel Optimization Lead will play a key role in supporting APEX Product Group's pursuit of accelerated multi-channel sales growth. This individual will be responsible for developing analytical solutions for a variety of Aftermarket channels and customer profiles, including direct-to-dealer, national big-box and online retailers, as well as OEM customers for the Pro Armor, Kolpin and Trail Tech businesses. This leader will be accountable to the Customer Operations Manager of APEX, to deliver and define sales targets across the brands and channels that Apex serves, while providing actionable insights and analytical recommendations to the Brand Leaders and Sales Teams on channel / customer requirements.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
Develop concise, actionable insights based on analytical data
Align sales resources and business leaders to deliver holistic channel alignment
Recommend pricing actions and consumer promotions, product launches, regional events, and channel program incentives
Utilize data analytics to help sales and channel business teams understand trends and opportunities within APEX's multi-channel sales structure
Provide detailed monthly sales forecasts, performance dashboards, and countermeasure recommendations to the respective business leaders for various channels and customer types
Play an integral role in the Sales and Inventory Planning, SKU Rationalization and Program Profitability process for Pro Armor, Kolpin and Trail Tech brands
Collaborate with Brand Leadership and Customer Operations Manager to develop robust go-to-market plans for key products
Broader team responsibilities include hiring, team engagement, development, and accountability for key performance indicators and budgets.
Provide timely and actionable channel and customer feedback to business leaders

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree required in business or an equivalent field, with an emphasis in Finance / Sales or Marketing. Master's Degree preferred
Minimum four (4) years of professional experience in business analytics or financial analysis
Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships in a matrix environment with multiple customers and evaluators
Ability to analyze complex and voluminous data and translate into actionable information and plans
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills including the ability to identify trends and develop appropriate countermeasure strategies as needed
Proven ability to influence high-performing and geographically dispersed teams
Experience extracting, cleaning, and integrating complex data Advanced critical thinking that blends observation, data, and fact-based insight with intuition and foresight
Position is located at Polaris' Plymouth, MN offices
Occasional travel to facilitate customer engagement, sales team assessment, and industry events expected
