Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned Channel Operations Manager who will help drive the continued development of a best-in-class channel led sales organization. This individual must be a creative, hands-on executive with proven leadership skills and a legacy of driving channel effectiveness. He/She will work collaboratively with the Global Channels operations leadership team and with the leadership of other internal functional organizations to coordinate sales activities and programs necessary to drive a synergistic, high-performing, team-oriented, ethical sales culture.

This role is pivotal to achieving optimal business results and will provide business partnering and channel sales support to the Channel Program leadership and Sales teams. This position will have a focus on partner productivity and overseeing key areas such as identifying & supporting operational needs within the partner network, business partnering, process and systems optimization, reporting and analytics, amongst others.

Key responsibilities include: lead and manage the channel operations team; Sustain alignment across internal stakeholders to grow and scale operational support; Drive development and ongoing measurement of the partner performance and impact on the business; Ensure alignment with sales operations so that all channel data sources are aligned with master data records.

Additionally, the role will interact with the finance and sales operations departments to ensure product and systems are aligned and can enable us to meet our partners' and customers' needs.

This individual needs to be a Channel thought leader, business driver, with a results-oriented approach, be highly analytical with the ability to synthesize data and make sound business recommendations to management. They must be a collaborative problem-solver, who not only understands the numbers, but also the broader business context around them.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Works with executive and cross functional leadership to establish sales goals to support and meet the company's sales, revenue and strategic growth goals.

  • Provides leadership, strategy and operational excellence to the sales organization

  • Communicates key process information, deadlines, task definition, etc. to groups within the sales organization

  • Proactively diagnose the analytical requirements of the channel and sales organizations; design and deliver reporting to meet their requirements metrics to monitor and report partner productivity and efficiency metrics

  • Proactively implement enabling systems and process infrastructure to optimize the effectiveness of technology investments and give Channel Sales more customer facing time

  • Facilitates in the launch of new products and initiatives by liaising closely with other functional organizations such as Sales Operations, Product Management, Solutions Marketing, Customer Service, Training and Finance to ensure we support the channel partners in new programs/product launches

  • KPIs: Partner Satisfaction; Delivery of partner systems and infrastructure; Highest degree of reliability; On time delivery of projects and reports


  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in a channel environment; Solution Provider or Distribution experience a plus

  • Knowledge of the US distribution model and remove channel operation challenges to best utilize the distribution partners to increase partner registrations and revenue

  • Strong channels sales and channels sales management skills with experience supporting a CRM/PRM environment

  • Proven ability to collaborate and effectively manage cross-functional teams charged with improving channel operations and diverse sales initiatives with a focus on revenue

  • Ability to challenge convention and advance best-in-class commercial sales models

  • Experienced leader with the ability to communicate effectively and drive the commercial vision, mission and strategy of the company

  • Strong planning, financial and analytical skills; proven ability to apply these skills with deft business acumen to complex situations with competing priorities

  • Strong consulting skills. Proven ability to partner with senior business leaders to understand needs and deliver solutions that meet expectations

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required; MBA or other graduate-level degree preferred
