JOB SUMMARY:

The Channel Marketing Specialist position is primarily responsible for the coordination and development in-store Point-of-Sale, store graphics, signage and in store selling aids, as well as multiple areas of product content within la-z-boy.com. Additionally the position will help manage and coordinate April/October market elements (creative, production, etc.). Furthermore help support the La-Z-Boy licensing program to ensure creative is properly designed, test products are approved.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties as assigned):

  • Coordinate and support creative development and production of dealer facing product SKU level support projects including: wholesale product catalogs, bi-annual in store standard tools, audit & action plans and SKU lists for all dealer channels, and all retail in store support sales tools.

  • Help to execute these solutions whether traditional printed form, digital output or app driven. Assists in ensuring the deadlines and milestones are met in development of applicable marketing solutions with internal/external subject matter experts, and external resources/agencies; and auditing accuracy of data provided or communicated.

  • Maintain awareness of sales aids for improving dealer experience. Gather data from internal sources to determine if dealer communications and sales tools are appropriate to increase dealer understanding, interest and knowledge of La-Z-Boy products.

  • Help facilitate work with outside and key internal LZB stakeholders to refresh and maintain the in-store digital signage program at retail including content coordination/planning (based on offerings) with cross-functional teams, retail and IT; content uploading, maintaining and refreshing promotions and product/service communications as applicable on a weekly and/or monthly time line. This includes Bright sign screens, in-store kiosks and DVD loop maintenance.

  • Work with team to ensure La-Z-Boy licensing partners creative is properly designed, test products are approved in a timely manner and all LZB supported marketing is effectively developed/implemented. Moreover, help maintain the licensing budget to ensure all minimums are being met/exceeded.

  • Support and maintain the La-Z-Boy Asset Management system by collaborating with both internal resources, and external vendor support; identify photographic asset needs, provide metadata tagging for assets, manage obsolete images, upload new assets, and drive continuous improvement in user experience of the site.

  • Help to control and monitor expenses in regards to projects and pieces in development

  • Assist the Content Manager with overall management of each Market - April and October.

Serve as a product expert across all marketing elements

Select budget responsibilities

Successfully manage in Store Consumer signage and collateral across network channels- (FG, CS and GD).

Help concept/develop POS that moves the business and scale out to the entire dealer network.

Program implementation and management responsibilities

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field, with 2-4 years of relevant experience, or equivalent.

  • Up to 10% travel.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None. MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: * High school diploma or equivalent. Bachelors degree in Finance, Economics, or Business Management preferred. * Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 7, 66 (or 65 and 63), appropriate state resident insurance licenses for Life, Health, Long Term Care, and Variable Annuity certification are required as documented in the Fifth Third Securities Licensing Guidelines. * Five (5) years of brokerage or related financial services experience. * Excellent understanding of the financial industry, compliance regulations, daily operational duties and investment brokerage/banking products.
