We're the global leader in application traffic management and security, and we're looking for a Channel Marketing Manager to join our America's Marketing team.

Position Summary:

F5 relies on a successful channel to market and sell F5 solutions to enterprise IT customers. You will report to the Reginal Vice President of Marketing, and develop and implement F5 channel strategy and programs that drive solutions to and through channel partners. Customer relationship management, market analysis, budget management, digital demand generation, and other channel marketing tactical skills are needed for this position.

You will have the ability to help differentiate F5 in the channel by making it easy for our partners to better market F5 solutions. Primary Responsibilities:

Implement marketing programs for use by F5's channel partners (40% of time).

  • Plan a cohesive channel marketing program and demand generation activities in North and Latin America

  • Build and deploy partner on-boarding kits, marketing programs in-a-box and marketing tools for independent use by the partners

  • Execute regular partner communications vehicles such as newsletter, webinars, road shows, and other outreach to the partner community as needed to drive F5 solutions

  • Travel to partner accounts and trade shows/events as appropriate for fostering partner relationships and supporting investment activities.

Handle the F5 channel investment funds, track return on investment performance, handle program compliance (40% of time).

  • Handle the channel investment budget in line with the F5 corporate and Americas channel goals. Plan utilization and effective ROI of the investments.

  • Analyze the results of the programs and report on program effectiveness with the marketing leadership, channel sales team, partners, and other internal F5 teams.

  • Handle third-party vendors to support the Americas channel marketing investment programs such as payment agencies, marketing agencies, and SaaS providers and other tools to increase F5's ROI with channel partner investments

  • Assure the payment process for F5 channel partners is compliant with F5 accounting practices and audit controls

Collaborate with Channel Sales team in implementing channel marketing program (20% of time).

  • Work closely with channel sales leadership and the Regional VP of Marketing to develop the channel partner marketing priorities for the Theatre, and drive implementation through strong communications and personal engagement

  • Participate in planning and executing annual partner summits and other partner events in partnership with the sales and marketing leadership teams

  • Analyze competitive channel program offerings and benchmark F5's channel marketing against best-in-class

Other Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for upholding F5's Business Code of Ethics and for promptly reporting violations of the Code or other company policies.

  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong written and verbal communications skills and presentation skills in English

  • Understanding of a channel's role in bringing technology solutions to market

  • Experience collaborating with a channel sales team

  • Experience directly working with channel partners in developing marketing programs

  • Experience with channel fund investment management Work independently while still being a great teammate, flexible, and dedicated

  • Work with a large and complex team of partners and channel sales managers able to thrive in a matrix reporting environment

  • Excellent time management skills

  • Thrives in an environment of rapid change, ability to adapt and take advantage of unplanned opportunities

  • Experience implementing channel marketing programs, and reporting performance

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Experience with handling budgets, vendors, and tracking PO's

  • Accomplishments in web marketing, web content management, and electronic media.

  • Experience developing collateral, both hard copy and online

  • Experience planning events

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Arts or Science degree

  • 5+ years B-to-B channel marketing experience with a technology company

  • Enterprise IT and/or service provider B-2-B experience and expertise

  • Strong Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word skills
