We are building a Performance Marketing organization that serves 7 different vacation brands and is rooted in analytics, experimentation, and the test-and-learn approach. Our organization includes strategists, digital marketers, media buyers, analysts, data scientists, market researchers. This is the rare opportunity to come in at the ground level and help shape how a $3bn company does performance marketing.
In this role, you will manage our Publishing and Affiliate marketing efforts, with direct impact on the P&L.
You will spend your time:
Planning and executing Publishing and Affiliate campaigns across multiple brands, in close collaboration with Brand Marketing teams
Managing and tracking Publishing and Affiliate channel performance against business targets; identifying and employing best practices for ROI measurement
Diving deep into performance data to support optimization and growth efforts
Working with IT to ensure correct implementation of Affiliate platform (Commission Junction)
Building and implementing tests to understand campaign effectiveness and incremental return on investment
Developing strategies to drive growth through Publishing and aligning those strategies across multiple brands
Working with Publishing partners to gain deep understanding of new and existing offerings and brainstorm new approaches and strategies
Utilizing Commission Junction, Google Analytics 360 and other relevant platforms
Working in a collaborative team environment to consistently exceed expectations
The ideal candidate will be ready to jump in and start producing results from day one.
We are looking for you if you have:
Bachelor's degree in an analytical or technical field
At least 2-5 years of hands-on Publishing and/or Affiliate channel experience
Experience in the travel industry is not required but preferred
Significant experience analyzing and continuously optimizing campaign performance
Experience developing and executing campaign calendars and campaign plans based on business requirements
Experience developing budget recommendations, forecasting and controlling spend
Experience working closely with creative teams
Hands-on experience with Google Analytics 360
Excellent organization and prioritization skills, with ability to manage campaigns for multiple brands
Ability to manage multiple internal and external stakeholders
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Analytical mindset, strong critical thinking skills
Excellent spoken and written communication skills
Strong candidates will also have:
Hands-on experience with Google Campaign Manager, Commission Junction
Significant experience working with TravelZoo
Strong grasp of experimentation and testing methodologies
Experience identifying appropriate KPIs and setting targets for upper funnel marketing
Familiarity with multi-touch attribution
Familiarity with Adobe Omniture
