Change Management Engineer (Systems Engineer)

In the ever-changing technical landscape of virtualization, mobility, and server computing, the Change Management Engineer serves an integral role in moving the business forward! This is a unique opportunity to join a fast-paced organization, broaden your skillset, and work with the latest technologies. Design, manage and automate our Change environment using ServiceNow to manage standards and policies and support CSC business and development users by optimizing productivity through the change processes.
What you'll do for us
As a Change Manager, you will be a key member of the team responsible for day-to-day operations of Change Management function on the ServiceNow platform
Responsible for the compliance and governance of all change requests, across environments
Develop and implement process improvement initiatives across the organization. Determine factors for compliance and enforcement
Provide training, coaching and guidance to the customers of the change management process with minimum supervision
Receive and process change requests through the Normal Change Process, including Change Approval Board (CAB) review and audit.
Review change requests to ensure appropriate rigor, discipline, consistency and predictability is applied across the entire organization with respect to how changes are submitted, reviewed and approved and executed.
Lead adherence to ITIL industry best practices
Define and track change metrics such as successful, unsuccessful, and emergency changes.
Manage the failed change meeting and consequence model for impacted changes.
Work with Information Security to demonstrate adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls for auditing purposes

Technical skills, experience and qualifications that will make you successful in this role
Minimum 5 years of Change Management experience and demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of Change Management processes in high growth and rapidly change technology enterprise
Outstanding knowledge of principles, methods and techniques used in change management
Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, and very strong interpersonal skills.
Must bring working knowledge and applied skills in ITIL v3 and Change Management
Outstanding knowledge of Change Management workflows on the ServiceNow platform
Ability to work independently and with a team.
Effectively communicate within a team environment and across organizational levels to include co-workers, management, and customers.
