Change Control Analyst

Key Role:

Work in the Department of Veterans Affairs Office of Electronic Health Records Modernization (OEHRM) program as a change control analyst. Leverage knowledge of project management, including change control and governance. Work within the OEHRM team for specification details of change requests, enter exiting and new change requests into the SharePoint tool, and verify completeness and accuracy of change requests. Work with teams to update, as appropriate. Comprehend process and route change requests through governance, work with teams to provide change request status updates, provide requirements updates for the SharePoint tool, as appropriate, develop standard operating for operation of change control and governance processes, update the change control management plan, as appropriate, and compile and provide measures and status reporting.

Basic Qualifications

  • 4 years of experience with project management, change control, or governance

  • Experience with supporting large teams and developing presentations

  • Experience with Microsoft Office

  • BA or BS degree in Operations Research, Mathematics, CS, Cost Accounting, or related scientific or technical field and 5 years of experience in a professional work environment or 8 years of experience in a professional work environment in lieu of a Bachelor's degree

Additional Qualifications

  • Possession of excellent analytical and interpersonal skills
  • PMP Certification preferred
