Brief Summary of Role

The Consultant will work onsite with customers to analyze their change enablement (change management, training, communications, and supporting content and media) requirements, and then design, develop and lead deployment of the user adoption portion of enterprise implementations of G Suite / Google Cloud.

Responsibilities

  • Understand client's business strategies and associated organization and change management issues

  • Explain the business, organization, leadership and individual contributor factors that influence organizational solutions to deliver value to the client

  • Approach change management as both an art and a science, leveraging proven change methodologies as well as a strong understanding of individual and organizational psychological factors that influence and drive behavior change

  • Develop eLearning training

  • Lead and/or execute stakeholder engagement and organizational readiness, leadership alignment, change impact analysis, education, communications, and adoption and adaptation measurement workstreams

  • Help re-align the organization, its people, and their actions with critical business imperatives and specific objectives

  • Assist with the workforce transition from internally managed operations to outsourced operations

  • Identify opportunities to provide or create additional client value

  • Develop trusted relationships with key clients, partners and colleagues

Education and Required Experience (Requirements)

  • B.S. degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • 3 + years experience related to the successful delivery of change management work in the disciplines of change management methodology, job/role design, stakeholder engagement and organizational readiness, leadership alignment, change impact analysis, education, communications, training and adoption and adaptation measurement

  • Direct experience in G Suite deployments or Google Cloud feature rollout

  • 5 + years general management consulting/software consulting experience

  • Understanding of the different training and user adoption approaches needed for successfully deploying cloud (SaaS) applications

  • Proficiency in program design, curriculum design, content and course development, and multiple forms of media development and deployment

  • Experience conducting business interviews and leading client workshops

  • Strong proficiency with presentation tools and applications (Captivate is preferred, also Jing, Articulate, etc.)

  • Ability and confidence to work closely with, and advise, senior executives at a given customer

  • Progressive and professional experience leading and/or supporting organizational change management for large scale global projects, particularly in human resources, information technology, CRM/Sales or other organizational transformations

  • Experience assessing business objectives and defining change strategy to meet objectives as well as developing appropriate work plans and leading the project according to the plan

  • Hands-on change management experience with implementing large-scale SaaS solutions

  • Demonstrate ability to work across all areas in an organization and manage various functions and resources

  • Excellent communication skills and strong leadership and presentation skills

  • Strong writing skills including the ability to synthesize information into clear, concise messages both for detailed analytical reports and executive summaries

  • Ability to work independently, work with a remote team, think creatively, manage own time, and take initiative to drive projects

  • Exceptional client relationship management skills

  • Ability to work from home and travel up to 60%

About the Role : Avanade's Organizational Change Management Strategy practice works across the continuum of Change Management to serve clients of all segments and industries throughout North America at all stages of their change journey.
