The Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and the Department of Radiology at the Brigham and Womens Hospital, Harvard Medical School are seeking an academic leader to serve as the chair of the Department of Imaging at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Professor/Associate Professor of Radiology at Harvard Medical School. The candidate will also become a member of the Department of Radiology at the Brigham and Womens Hospital.
This individual will be responsible for the full scope of clinical, research and educational activities of the department as well as collaborative activities with the other departments, Partners HealthCare System, Harvard Medical School, Boston Childrens Hospital and other affiliated institutions.
A candidate with a focus on molecular imaging will receive strong consideration.
Candidates should have a strong record as a mentor and as a teacher, national recognition for research accomplishments, and possess exceptional leadership, managerial and collaborative skills. Ideally, she/he would be a proven leader with an international reputation in radiology who can lead a complex and successful department to even higher levels of excellence.

The faculty appointment includes senior leadership opportunities and significant collaboration with the Dean on strategic initiatives for BU Sargent College. This is a full-time, tenured position with a nine-month appointment plus summer overbase pay; academic year requirements include teaching, research and service. Rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and level of experience. The Department of Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences is housed at Boston University, College of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences: Sargent College and offers undergraduate, master's and doctoral programs.
