POSITION PURPOSE/SUMMARY

The Chief Financial Officer will lead the financial management and business operations of the Fort Zumwalt School District in alignment with our mission statement: to educate, empower, and equip students to excel. The CFO ensures the effective allocation of financial resources to support the educational programs and services that enable our students to achieve academic success and personal growth. This position contributes to realizing our mission by providing the financial foundation necessary for student excellence through strategic financial planning, transparent budgeting processes, and sound fiscal management practices.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

The Chief Financial Officer shall have at least five (5) years of experience in general accounting, management of a business office or other administrative experience in a school setting. The CFO shall have a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field, and either hold DESE certification to be able to serve as an assistant superintendent or hold a CPA license in the State of Missouri.
